Quick stop off to the @alshamarlounge for a catch up with a friend over afternoon tea. Found in the lobby of the @jumeirahminaasalam it is a beautiful spot where you can catch up with friends, set up meetings as well as work. Another day of work! I don’t know about you but as soon as I get into work I’m immediately thinking about what’s for lunch! Saying that @pitapituae are offering great sandwiches and salads that are fully customisable. To be honest it is pricy - the cheapest sandwich starts around 34AED, so for us personally it not something we’d eat everyday. However, the ingredients are premium, super delicious and fresh. We were blown away by our experience at the @ana.restaurant in Dubai Mall. Serving mouthwatering, filling Emirati home favourites. We tried quite a few Middle Eastern restaurant but none that tastes quite like this. One other fav from @eatpickl! Messy Fries! Skinny fries with bits of bacon, dill pickles, parsley, and their secret sauce! 🔥 mate! It was so moorish, we kept eating and eating but it would not finish! We were super excited to try out @eatpickl! Not-so-new burger place in JLT! I won’t lie. We were very disappointed by the construction of the burger. The potato burger bun is so light and the chicken patty although tender was such an odd shape it was hard to keep the chicken in the bun! I do like a messy burger but I just feel these burgers were not meshing well together. However we gave it another try this week and we were pleasantly surprised! The burger was well constructed and we were able to bite into it the right way🔥😏! Background is appropriately sparkly in celebration of the new tasting menu at the 800 Pizzeria (@800degreesme). We tried out 10-11 new dishes and drinks! Two of which were the new monster milkshakes. Personally we felt that they were just a tad bit watery, however the great thing about tasting sessions is that the restaurant as so happy to take in feedback!
