why is this fandom still so racist

we have so many non-white characters and yet you guys manage to either completely ignore them, dumb them down into one trait that they either didn't display at all or only briefly displayed, or use them only for a ship

like i know too many people who's only interpretation of art is religious when that is not his entire character at all

so many people only see collie as aggressive or push him into this weird caretaker role where he becomes the "mom" of the group for some odd reason, don't know why.

people assume that pete is some sort of manwhore and that his only character trait is being horny for ray when that just.. isn't true? just because someone is comfortable enough to openly admit what they're feeling doesn't mean that's all they feel

i don't think i see as much mischaracterization of hank but people are definitely more ruthless and racist with him just in general with certain assumptions and jokes they make

i don't see a lot of mischaracterization for harkness either but a lot of people assume hes white which isn't true 😭

i've complained about this like fifty times already but i fear i won't stop until you guys stop being weird
