Leafpool! I feel that when you read TNP, you either get super attached to Leafpool, OR you get super attached to Squirrelflight. Nowadays, Squirrelflight is my favorite, but I used to be SUPER attached to Leafpool purely because the fandom seemed to hate her at the time.

As for her design, I didn't know whether to go down the chubby/fluffy Leafpool route or the sleek Leafpool route that is shown in canon. I ended up doing a little bit of both, with some chest fluff and a thin tail.

I also tried to make her shade of brown as light as possible to match my Sandstorm design :)

"she was loved. i loved her." is genuinely one of the greatest most emotionally raw lines in all of the books ever. there is so much in there. she was loved. i loved her. i can't explain to you guys what happens to me when i think about she was loved i loved her
