Very important to me that Simon essentially comes from an alien culture from grace’s pov.

I imagine the way you express gratitude or well wishes in Eden has to do with the tree also, a more formal expression might be ‘May thy body rot and nourish the soil and join the creator in eternity,” but in casual speech it gets shortened and sounds. very unsettling. To those not in the know.

I also think Simon isn’t technically speaking English, it would sorta be like a modern person trying to talk to someone speaking in Elizabethan English-like you can kinda understand it, but you gotta really focus.

This is what I tried to explain to US platforms like Patreon when they suspended my account for having a nude statue as the background image: I live in Europe, I can go and see a nude statue within a 5 minutes walk. Children can see them, they're not in some 18+ container. I will never understand those policies.

I'm alive and back with some Blood of the Lamb AU.

I've been working on a conlang for the sheep in my AU, I think I'm gonna call it 'Shepish'. In this, Ovidius is saying, "Boa yo ba?" meaning - "Who are you?". I'm thinking of making a post highlighting the language and its alphabet later on.

For some context, in my AU, Narinder has personal ties to sheep and doesn't like talking about it. Ovidius, being the god-hating and persistent sheep they are, absolutely despises Narinder's secrecy. They want to know exactly why Nari does so much for the Final Flock and why he knows so much about sheep, including the language.

I'm also very proud of the details in this. I've been fist fighting art block for weeks and trying to find openings in my schedule to actually sit down and doodle.

Why does Narinder care about the sheep being protected? And why is it difficult for him to answer such a question?

I love drawing this pathetic, grumpy man in fancy clothes, tis' a hobby

As for some of his details, I have given him a long braid as well, though it is nowhere near as long as the lamb's.

He also maintains his style, never swaying to match the Bishops' black and gold. Even though the embroidery patterns resemble the Bishops', he stays true to his white and pale reds. His love for a more sheep-like wardrobe and style will be explained later, have patience, and enjoy.

One of these days, I'll actually fully render something for this au, probably something narilamb or lore related

And have a chibi, as a treat

Question: when they’re killed at the start of the game, does the executioner also cut through their braid? Or does their braid remain undamaged?

To answer your questions: No, their braid remains undamaged. Ovidius is the lamb for my Blood of the Lamb AU, in which they have avoided the prophecy and continue to live as the leader of the Final Flock of sheep.

Hey guess what!!

I'm compiling my soulmate au into ao3 for easier access!!

First part is posted and will be updating it daily till I'm caught up with what's already posted. Once it's caught up ao3 will be the last place I'll be updating the au as it's going to be used as an archive (stares) for it. Socials first, ao3 last.

Also wanted to say thank you for supporting my silly au. The fact that so many people likes it really keeps me going. I love you all! <3
