Im super sorry but surgery and hormones don’t change your biological sex, it only alters the appearance of our secondary sex characteristics and it requires extensive surgical and hormonal replacement procedures for semi natural looking effects and are NOT proof that biological sex is a mere social construct that fluctuates easily and does not matter in our sexual orientations/relationships and it certainly does not mean sexism and women’s oppresion is “because of the hatred of the feminine”

Biological sex is a reality you can’t change, attraction is sex based, no one is attracted to the concepts of “femininity and masculinity” a thats the most sexist concept I’ve ever heard and I cannot believe its coming out of the “liberal” “progressive"and “feminists”

This brings up a good point: the fact that you HAVE to undergo extensive surgery to change the appearance of secondary sex characteristics to appear “passing” is very proof that bio sex is not a social construct. If it was a social construct, there would be no need to physical change. You could just adjust your attitude.

This is the one event they can show up and be normal people and couples and celebrate their same sex attraction/culture (and still face harassment and have to go back to grossly homophobic environments). Pride was made for same-sex attracted people (originally gays and lesbians). Y'all people who call yourselves and ‘reclaim’ the same slur that was hurled at gays and lesbians forced yourselves into pride. What connects all us 'queer’ folk together? What does 'queer’ even mean besides a slur that you use to insert yourself in places you dont belong? If not same-sex attraction, what holds us 'queer’ hold together as a community? What common experiences do we share? What is this 'spectrum’ of 'queerness’ and what does it mean?

Somehow I dont make the rules but you and every other 'queer’ under the sun can? Inclusiveness can destroy a movement.

The reason same-sex attracted individuals protest is because they are PERSECUTED WORLDWIDE. The social stigmas gay people experience are there extension of the systematic oppression they are subjected to(lack of human rights, lack of basic equal rights, death penalty, prison, fines, social exile, beatings, torture etc.) Asexuals don’t have to worry about this so what the fuck are you protesting about and why the fuck should i care? Hell even if you do show up, how dare you try to police how gay people show affection (which was what this post was originally about) in a safe space made specifically for them!

Lesbians are unhappy.

Just look at terfs for the most extreme lesbianism. Hyperfixating on your genital fetish and focuses your entire personality, movement and life on it makes you an angry and creepy person. You distance yourself socially and just generally have a bad personality. You have a victim complex and are obsessed with privilege and oppression.

Take a step back. Look at how happy straight and bisexual women are. They have friends, hobbies, careers, children, husbands and companionship. They are happy with themselves and with society. They aren’t constantly thinking about, obsessing over just one thing. They really live everyday. That’s what I’m aiming for. Heterosexuality is beautiful.
