I had two powerful anxiety attacks over the course of like 6 hours and decided to make myself feel better by drinking an entire chemex.
What the fuck is wrong with me?
It’s really corny not to make good on promises you make to other people. Especially when those people helped you through really difficult times.
Everyone does this once in a while. Everyone fucks up.
Doesn’t mean it’s any less corny.
Times are hard for everyone. I get it.
If you have to steal to eat, I’m not gonna knock it. I understand.
But if you’re gonna steal, steal from a corporation. Rob a bank. Write some malicious code that hacks the stock market like in some shitty 90s movie.
Don’t break the window of my car and steal the backpack with my laptop in it. I worked really hard for the money to buy that.
This is beyond disgusting.
Jazzy Rowe could have died, because of her roommates racism. The school tried to intimidate her into silence, but she speaking out and the multi cultural organizations at the school are meeting tomorrow (Nov. 1st) to support her.
The Woman who openly admitted to poisoning her roommate is Brianna “Breezy” Borchu. She was the roommate of Jazzy Rowe at The University of Hartford.
According to this website article, Brianna Borchu has recently been arrested.

JAZZY COULD HAVE DIED.
Brianna Brochu was literally poisoning this young woman because of her race. One could even argue that this was an attempted murder.. because it definitely was a HATE CRIME.
She only received 2 charges. 1) 2nd degree Breach of Peace 2) 3rd degree Criminal Mischief
Finally, her mugshot was released.
Brianna Brochu has been expelled. #JusticeForJazzy
The president of The University of Hartford wrote a letter addressing the situation. The note is as follows:
<blockquote> Dear University of Hartford Community,
I am writing to provide further updates on the deeply disturbing situation involving our students. As of this morning, Brianna Brochu is no longer a student at the University of Hartford. She will not be returning to the institution.
There has been an outpouring of concern for the victim of these acts from across the University and the country. In my meeting with her yesterday, I reiterated my personal commitment to ensuring she has all available personal and academic resources the University can provide.
As I said yesterday, the University took action immediately once these allegations were brought to our attention. University Public Safety was first notified and responded to this incident at 11:48 p.m. on October 17. The reprehensible conduct of the involved student was not known by the victim or the University until that time. By 1:12 a.m. the West Hartford Police Department was notified and processes for legal and University conduct began. A no-contact order was put into place and the case was turned over to local authorities by 2:16 a.m.
It is clear there is work to be done at our University to ensure that all students feel safe, respected, and valued. The conversations that began with student groups, faculty, and staff yesterday are going to continue and involve our full community. I am dedicated to that mission and will continue to share additional information about opportunities for our path forward in meaningful dialogue and action.

I also think we should all keep in mind that the University tried to silence the victim, Jazzy, allowing Brianna to get away with barely a slap on the wrist. Keep in mind that it was the voices of social media which aided in getting Jazzy the justice she so rightfully deserves. I applaud the school for expelling her, but this should have been done without external influence and pressure.
Breezy’s actions are reprehensible.
This happened in a city about 15 minutes from where I grew up, in the “progressive” northeast (also happens to be the city in which I was born). Hartford has had more black people living in it than white people for a very long time now, and still, that majority population deals not just with micro aggressions and institutional discrimination, but with immediate racist violence. And we know CONCLUSIVELY, FROM THE HORSE'S MOUTH, that Breezy's actions were motivated by racism; otherwise, why would Jazzy's identity as a Jamaican woman be invoked by Breezy in that comment?
Just some food for thought for any self-congratulatory northern progressives. Just because you aren't from "the deep south" doesn't mean you aren't complicit in racism, nor does it mean that you don't benefit from racist institutions. We ALL have work to do. NO WHITE PERSON is exempt. Shove your "post-racial" "I don't see color" liberal bullshit up your ass.
I really have to learn how to not be so angry all the time.
Whenever something irritates me - whether it's personal, circumstantial, professional, anything - I have a tendency to do a thing that I call “picking my battles.” One isn’t picking one's battles, though, if one doesn't actually let stuff go, and instead bottles things up... and I'm realizing that that's what I'm actually doing, no matter what I call it.
I constantly walk around with a simmering anger just below the surface, and lately it keeps coming out when I'm not planning it. I'm hurting people. I don't want to be like this anymore.
I’ll forgive, but I won’t forget.
Find Out What E.O. Wilson, Tom Hanks, Jane Goodall, And More Have To Say
The more I think about the new Twin Peaks, and the more I read about people's interpretations of it (which have become increasingly different from my own interpretation), the more I realize I really love it. As much as I love the original series, I think The Return might have edged a little bit ahead as my favorite iteration of Twin Peaks.
Gee, I wonder what in the world happened just prior to 1945 that would have led to this conclusion.

Makes me wonder what they’d write if he were white and had a past he was trying to move on from. I hate the media #Racism
