It's hard to hate the person who gave life to you. But I don't understand how one person could have everything she could ever ask for and it not be enough. She'd rather sit in a "alright" apartment by herself. Let me back track my mom broke the news that she was leaving my dad even though "he's such a good man". That she's so unhappy and hates life that me and my brother were the only reasons why she was with my dad. When I dad loved her would do ANYTHING for her. She wanted anything he would get it, wanted to go out they would go. He would drink and have Fun and she would deem him an embarrassment. But she said there was no changing her mind;she's wanted to leave him for years I suppose and do everything with other people that he wanted to do with her and she despised only a few months ago. They signed their papers on their 23 anniversary, and I've watched my dad get better and better at hiding how he feels. Begging me not to go home every time I come over to check on him. And my mom slapped me in the face with a "I'm going on a date". While I'm moving back in with my father to make sure he at least has someone home with him. She has never cared about anyone but herself and I think it's time to cut ties. Because I can't even stand to look at her in all her happiness while I have to pick up the pieces at home.
