I could see the Kid Pirates throwing a fit over Killer's change of wardrobe because he doesn't really stand out as much as them besides his mask. Like compared to the rest of the crew's outfit, he does look kind of normal, but that's compared to them only, by himself he'd still get stared at but if he was with the rest of his crew the focus would be on everyone else's outfits because, have you seen them ?

Kid: What the fuck are you wearing ?

Killer: ???? Clothes ????

Wire: Why are you dressed like a fucking basic ?

Killer: I'm not a basic ! Do you not see this mask on my face ?!?

Heat: Why'd you get rid of the fringe on your jeans and polka dot shirt ? At least back then you somewhat fit the aesthetic, now you look like a dad going to pick up his kids from soccer.

Kid: You don't stand out anymore.

Killer: I STILL HAVE MY GAUNTLETS AND I STILL HAVE A SASH ?!? THE FUCK YOU MEAN I DON'T STAND OUT ANYMORE ?!? I'M PRETTY SURE THESE BIG ASS SCARS ON MY ARM HELP ME STAND OUT JUST FINE !

Or the argument would be that Killer sticks out too much because compared to his crew, he looks kind of normal compared to them, so all attention would be on him instead of Kid and Kid would get jealous.
