Hello everyone, how's your day going? Please take a moment to read this. This is reguarding a guy who goes to my school. An excerpt from the link is down below : "Hello everyone, I am Obinna Ossai. I've been wearing powerful eyeglasses since I was 5 years old due to high myopia (nearsightedness). Due to lack of adequate medical equipment in the area that I grew up in Nigeria, I was not properly diagnosed. As a result, my vision worsened over the years, and I've changed glasses twice. Now I'm 25 years old and in my final year of study in Ukraine. On 7th March 2017 I went to a specialist ophthalmology center, where I was diagnosed with: High myopia with -20D visual acuity (right eye) and -22D visual acuity (left eye)Severe myopic astigmatism of both eyesMild amblyopia (right eye) and moderate amblyopia (left eye) (Amblyopia = Lazy Eye)Peripheral chorioretinal dystrophy of both eyes To correct all these problems, I have to undergo 3 surgeries: Laser photocoagulation, laser irridotomy (against glaucoma) and implantation of phakic intraocular lens (IOL). My doctor says I stand a high risk of retinal detachment, which can lead to blindness and is very expensive to correct." There is more information in the link reguarding the surgeries and the expenses etc. Whatever help you can render will be appreciated :Donate, reblog and share as much as you can. Thank you for your time and have a nice day.
Be positive. And... Have a nice day.

“You need to understand that studying requires extensive training. Study habits, amount of sleep, timing. Therefore, you should see it as a sport. In order to get better you need to repeat and practice. Your brain needs to be recited all this information for long term memory. It’s a hard process, I know, but trust me you’ll get there.”

You are not just here to fill space or be a background character in someone else’s movie. Consider this: nothing would be the same if you did not exist. Every place you have ever been and everyone you have ever spoken to would be different without you. We are all connected, and we are all affected by the decisions and even the existence of those around us.

lately i’ve been replacing my “i’m sorry”s with “thank you”s, like instead of “sorry i’m late” i’ll say “thanks for waiting for me”, or instead of “sorry for being such a mess” i’ll say “thank you for loving me and caring about me unconditionally” and it’s not only shifted the way i think and feel about myself but also improved my relationships with others who now get to receive my gratitude instead of my negativity
This is some 2017 mood

So me and my roommate have this thing where we greet each other sarcastically every morning. One of us offers the "normal greeting" while the other replies with a sarcastic comeback. Tbh I think most of the time I'm the latter of the two. So a few days ago, my roommate told me good morning and I decided to answer like a normal person (it was actually kind of difficult/weird) and she goes - "Are you okay?" Or something like that hahah. THE SARCASM IS REAL!
I hate glamorizing over-working. It’s not healthy. The fact that there are so many people going without sleep, food, personal hygiene (not to mention time for relaxation, personal time, and socialization, which are very necessary for mental health) just to stay afloat is not something to be celebrated or applauded. It’s a problem, not a goal that all good employees should aspire to, or a norm everyone should be expected to perform.
Self-Amazement
In the Name of Allāh, the Ever Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy
The disease afflicting the Muslim youth in our times is that when they acquire some new knowledge, they raise their heads (arrogantly) thinking that they know everything, and they are overcome with self-amazement. We fear that they resemble the statement of the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ):
“There are three destructive things: Being stingy, following one’s desires and being amazed with one’s own opinion.”

Will Allāh Punish Me For Praying?? | An Excellent Reply To Mawlid Celebrators.
Narrated by al-Bayhaqī with a correct chain of narration that Imām Sa’īd b. Al-Musayyib رحمه الله once saw a man praying more than two (Sunnah) Rak’āt after the beginning of Fajr, making bows and prostrations abundantly in it, so he forbade him.
The man said, “O Abū Muḥammad, is Allāh going to punish me for praying?” the Imām replied: “No, but He will punish you for OPPOSING the Sunnah.”

A golden reply to those who ask “Will Allāh punish us for commemorating the birth of Prophet ﷺ?”, we say YES Allāh will punish those who innovate into His Deen, may Allāh grant us correct understanding of this religion and protect us from all kinds of innovations and misguidance,
Shaykh. al-Albānī رحمه الله said in its commentary: وهو سلاح قوي على المبتدعة (.. And this narration is a STRONG WEAPON against the innovators).
