I expected to be sad and empty in the wake of Haikyuu, but it turns out that all I can feel is gratitude. I could try for a year and not be able to express everything I feel about this series. Thank you, Furudate-sensei, for 8 and a half years of hard work; thank you for letting us meet these characters; and thank you for showing us all that volleyball is fun.

Do the ROs have any scars/birthmarks/tattoos? :3

Blade has a tattoo over his heart (as most Ket of his caste do). He has more than a few scars: white feathery scars on his knuckles and around his right elbow, a long, puckered scar across his left ribs, a small scar on his right hip, and a small puncture scar on his right shoulder and back. No birthmarks!

Trouble has the scar on his left palm, which he covers with his gloves, and a bullet scar in his left shoulder. And a scar on the back of his head, but you’d never see it because his hair covers it.

Tallys has a small birthmark on her left hip and some scars on her fingers, knees, and collarbone. 

Shery doesn’t have any scars, birthmarks, or tattoos lol! Her skin is as smooth and unblemished as milk!

Neither does Riel. Perfect porcelain babies, both.

Chase has a small scar where his jawbone meets his ear and one small one on his left thigh. (He should have tons of scars but usually gets them healed–the ones he leaves are out of vanity.) He also has a tattoo on the underside of his right forearm (the sigil of his guild).

Red has some scars on his fingers and a birthmark (more a freckle) on his right shoulder blade!

Ayla has a tattoo on the back of her neck and some rope scars on her ankles and wrists…

Lavinet doesn’t have any tattoos or scars; she has a birthmark on the back of her right thigh: it’s shaped like a star and she’s very proud of it! (Speaking of, I was cooking without pants on last night and like an idiot I splashed hot oil on my thigh… and now I’m really scared it’s going to scar!! The only upside is that one of the burns looks like a heart and I can pretend it’s a cutie mark and I’m a human My Little Pony 😭)
