Techno and the reconsiliation with the industrial revolution

I dont feel good

The merits of the postmodern time.

No more work in the machines’ hell,

where death and pain awaits me.

Yet still the trauma lives on in me.

I know what I'm doing

Yet still I’m not reconciled with the machines.

I hate them.

Though the civilisation is the foundation of my misery,

the machine is another scourge.

Auschwitz.

The machinery is too much for me

Don’t want to take part,

can’t escape.

Too ambigious for the machine,

too much part of it myself to destroy it.

When will you look at yourself

Hour after hour,

smoke and sweat.

The motions repeat themselves,

the thoughts become empty.

I become the machine.

I am reconciled.

I run two blogs about queer women lit, and in the years since I started them, I’ve gotten a lot of requests for very specific books. About once a week, I get a question asking if I know any, say, Italian lesbian books. Or queer women magical realism. Or wlw high fantasy novels. I like doing the research to answer these, and in doing so I’ve developed some strategies to finding obscure topics, so I thought I’d share what’s worked for me.

In less than 15 minutes, Israel launched 30 airstrikes on Gaza

Reports say that so far a 17 year old boy has been wounded.

Israeli artillery is bombing northern Gaza Strip. 

And Hamas’ military wing is threatening to retaliate back.
