COD headcanons: SHOTS 💉
~~~
Ghost: Despite his looks, despite the skull mask and the whole “I don’t care” thing. Nikolai and Price have to sit on him for the medic to even administer the shot. He’s squirmy for a six foot man of pure muscle, the needle is smaller than his pointer finger, he does not care. Get that thing away from his fucking body. Not to mention, he can and will body this medic if they got any closer to him. All his shots have ti happen in one day because he will barricade himself in a closet and refuse to come out. He gets two new hoodies from Captain Price for this traumatic even.
Soap: Can’t even feel it therefore, he has no reaction. Might be the nerve damage from being in so many fucking wars, missions that leave his bones vibrating and his brain buzzing. It’s actually insane he has any nerve endings left in his body. By the time it’s over, he blinks because it was really fast. He always asks for the fun bandaids, he is the reason why the base medics keep cartoon themed bandages.
Gaz: Needles don’t scare him. He just doesn’t like thinking about the fact that thing goes inside his body. The same way he doesn’t like getting his blood drawn, he can’t feel his blood being drained but his brain makes him THINK he can feel it. Has to be lightly sedated or the thought will make him pass out.
Rudy: Will admit he is bit of a baby when it comes to being stabbed with needles, wouldn’t fight the medic but he usually wants to hold someone’s hand. He could tolerate a simple shot, prefers to get all shots done in one sitting if he can help it. Has to eat before hand or he’ll be grumpy.
Alejandro: The colonel? Worse than ghost probably. Mainly because his pain tolerance is.. low. Does not enjoy being poked with a needle. But he doesn’t want to be a bitch so he’s clenching the chair rests until the plastic whines and grinding his teeth together. After all, he’s a role model for his soldiers. Even if the more he tenses makes the process longer than it has to be and he has to be heavily sedated.
Laswell: Barely flinches. Though all her shots are private and done in an actual medical facility rather than on bass. Not much to be said here, he talks about the weather, updates the doctor when needed and doesn’t threaten to take their life if the needle is big.
Captain Price: Gets a little lightheaded but overall, he’s fine. It makes him feel better if he watches the needle go into his skin so he knows nothing will go wrong.
