Here it is!
The Long Day
The makeup artist pressed a cool sponge against Lee Know’s cheek, but the relief was fleeting. His skin burned, his head throbbed, and no amount of powder could hide the feverish flush that kept creeping up his neck. He swallowed hard, but even that hurt.
The director’s voice cut through the studio:
“Alright, let’s reset for another take. Energy up, everyone!”
Lee Know let out a breath that was more of a cough, and then straightened his shoulders. He’d done this countless times before. Push through, smile, dance sharp, keep going. But today his body wasn’t cooperating. His limbs felt heavy, his head foggy, and no amount of professionalism could keep him from stumbling just slightly on one move.
“Cut!”
The word was merciful. As soon as the music faded, Lee Know turned automatically, scanning the room until his gaze found Han.
Han sat cross-legged on a spare prop box, munching on something from a small bag. His eyes flicked up instantly, sharp and perceptive as always. He tilted his head, silently asking, You okay?
Lee Know trudged toward him, tugging off his stage jacket and fanning himself weakly. “I’m dying,” he muttered, collapsing onto the box beside Han.
Han pulled a water bottle from the floor, twisting off the cap before handing it over. “Drink,” he said simply. Lee Know accepted it without argument, sipping gratefully. “My throat feels like sandpaper.”
Han rummaged in his pocket, producing a small roll of throat lozenges. He shook one into his palm and pressed it into Lee Know’s hand like it was contraband.
Lee Know blinked at him. “You’ve been holding out on me?” Han smirked. “I plan ahead. Someone has to keep you functional.”
Lee Know popped the lozenge into his mouth, the menthol sting both soothing and startling. “Thanks,” he murmured, voice softer than usual.
Han leaned back against the wall, studying him. He patted his lap, and Lee Know graciously laid his head down. Han could feel the heat coming off of Lee Know's head as the older struggled a bit to get comfy. “You should’ve stayed home. You look miserable.” Han said with concern as he brushed the damp strands of hair off his hyung's forehead.
“They need all of us for the video,” Lee Know said, rolling his eyes. “Mm,” Han hummed, unconvinced. “I think the world would survive one day without you spinning in circles.”
Lee Know shoved his shoulder weakly, but the playful gesture faded as another cough tore through him. He sat up and slumped forward, resting his elbows on his knees as he tried to catch his breath. Without a word, Han reached over, tugged at the hood of Lee Know’s sweater, and pulled it up loosely over his head. A small shield from the glaring lights, a small act of kindness. Lee Know didn’t say anything, but the corner of his mouth twitched upward.
---
The hours dragged on. Between takes, Lee Know’s energy dwindled further. The group cheered each other on, but Han never let his attention drift too far.
When the stylists reapplied Lee Know’s makeup, Han appeared quietly at his side, holding another bottle of water as Lee Know coughed harshly into his elbow.
When Lee Know sank onto a chair during a short break, Han dropped into the seat beside him and leaned close enough to whisper, “You’ve got this. Just one more set.”
When Lee Know’s head lolled back against the wall, eyes half-shut, Han slid his phone into his hands, screen already lit with a video of kittens playing. “Emergency morale boost.”
Lee Know blinked at the tiny animals tumbling across the screen, and despite himself, he let out a hoarse laugh. “You’re ridiculous.”
“And you love it,” Han replied.
---
By the time the director finally called it a wrap, Lee Know was swaying on his feet. The adrenaline that had carried him through the last shot drained instantly, leaving only exhaustion behind. Harsh coughs wracked his tired body, and he barely noticed when Han slipped an arm around his shoulders, steadying him.
“Come on, hyung,” Han said gently, guiding him toward the van. “Bedtime.”
Lee Know groaned, “I still have to change—”
“I’ll get your bag,” Han interrupted firmly. “You’re not lifting a finger.”
They reached the van, and Han nudged Lee Know into the seat first. When Lee Know leaned against the window, eyes closing, Han draped his own hoodie over him like a blanket.
Lee Know mumbled something that was halfway between “thank you” and “don’t fuss,” but his voice was so low it barely counted.
Han just smiled, tucking the fabric around him. “Sleep. I’ve got you covered.”
And for the first time all day, Lee Know didn’t fight it. He let himself sink into the quiet, comforted by the simple certainty that Han was right there.
Hii!! I was scrolling through your account and found a poll about a minho sickfic from last year. And I was wondering if you were still up to writing it.
Not rushing or demanding anything!! I was just curious if/when you were going to publish it. Thank youuuu
Hello!
Yes, I am still up to writing it. I had taken a long break from writing to catch up on some things and life. But I plan to still write this one 😁👌 Might be a few days, but I should have it posted by Friday or Saturday!
Hii! Can we please get some taking care of Hyunjin with a tummy ache or a stomach flu? Yk, like cuddles, belly rubs, medicine. All that cute fluffy stuff! If you don’t want to that’s fine <3
Here you go!
"Comfort In The Middle Of The Night"
Rain pattered softly against the dorm windows, the only sound in an otherwise silent apartment. The glow from a small lamp cast a golden circle over Hyunjin’s bed. He was curled up on his side, one hand pressed to his stomach, trying to breathe through another cramp. The nausea and fever had crept up over the evening, and now, in the middle of the night, it felt unbearable. He has already thrown up 3 times and the thought of another just made him shiver with dread.
He fumbled for his phone and, without hesitating, hit Chan’s name.
“Hyunjin?” Chan’s voice was still rough with sleep, but instantly attentive.
“Hyung… my stomach really hurts,” Hyunjin whispered, trying not to sound as miserable as he felt. “I think I’m sick.”
“I’m on my way. Don’t move,” Chan said, already pulling on a hoodie as he hung up.
Chan reached the door to the dorm Hyunjin shared with Changbin. He knocked loudly enough that it would signal Changbin to wake up and open the door for him. Inside, the sound stirred Changbin from his half-sleep. With messy hair and one eye barely open, he shuffled to the door and cracked it open a few inches.
“Hyung? What are you doing here this late?" Changbin’s voice was husky with sleep.
“Sorry to wake you Binnie.." Chan whispered. “Hyunjin called. He’s not feeling well.”
Changbin yawned and stepped aside, holding the door wider. “Come in. He’s in his room. Poor kid’s been throwing up all evening.” He rubbed his eyes and added softly, “Let me know if you need anything.”
“I’ve got it. Go back to sleep,” Chan murmured, squeezing his shoulder before slipping past him. Changbin padded back to his room, and the dorm fell silent again.
Chan pushed Hyunjin’s door open quietly. “Oh, Jinnie…” he murmured when he saw him curled up on the bed. He knelt beside him and brushed the damp fringe off his forehead. “You’re really warm. It's definitely a fever.
Hyunjin’s lips trembled. “Sorry for waking you hyung…”
“Don’t even start,” Chan said gently. He helped Hyunjin sit up just enough to sip water and swallow some flu medicine. “Small sips. Good.”
Hyunjin sagged back against the pillows. “Thanks, hyung.”
“Always,” Chan said softly. “Stay there. I’ll get you something warm for your stomach.”
From the tiny kitchen came the muted sounds of Chan heating water and rummaging through cupboards. A few minutes later, he returned with a mug of mild ginger tea and a warm compress wrapped in a hand towel.
“Let’s try this,” he said. He set the tea down, adjusted Hyunjin’s blanket, and gently laid the warm compress over his abdomen. “Better?”
Hyunjin exhaled shakily. “Yeah… it helps.”
Chan stayed perched on the edge of the bed until Hyunjin’s hands stopped trembling. Then, seeing the way Hyunjin was clutching at his sleeve, he climbed up to sit beside him on top of the covers.
“Come here,” he said quietly. Hyunjin shifted closer without a word, resting his head on Chan’s shoulder.
Chan wrapped one arm around him and with his free hand rubbed slow, steady circles over the younger’s stomach through the blanket. “Breathe with me. In… and out…” His voice was low and steady, like a lullaby. Little by little, Hyunjin’s breathing matched his. The cramps eased under Chan’s palm; the fever made him drowsy but the closeness kept him calm.
“You’re safe. I’ve got you,” Chan murmured, tucking the blanket snug around them both. He reached for the mug again. “Think you can drink a little more tea?” Hyunjin nodded, took a few small sips, and handed it back. “You’re the best, hyung…”
Chan smiled and brushed a thumb across Hyunjin’s temple. “Just rest. I’ll be right here.”
The rain kept falling outside, steady and soft. In the quiet dorm room, the leader sat with his arm around the younger, rubbing gentle circles over his stomach whenever he stirred, whispering small reassurances until Hyunjin finally drifted into sleep. Chan stayed awake a while longer, watching over him.

Just A Drabble I Have..
“Hyuuuunnnnngggg….” Han moaned out as he shifted his aching body on the couch to find a comfier spot. Lee Know, from the kitchen, gave an audible tsk as he continued to make the tea he was working on for his sick boyfriend. “I am almost done honey!” He yelled in response to his boyfriend’s cry for attention. Han had been sick with a nasty flu for two days and Lee Know was starting to lose it. Don’t get him wrong though, even with some death stares here and there, Lee Know loved Han and would do anything for him. But often when Han would get sick, he would become super clingy and whine whenever Lee Know would leave the room to grab something or even something as simple as going to the bathroom. But dang it did he love that boy with all his heart, that when Han would give him those sweet puppy dog eyes, he didn’t dare say no. He finished stirring the soup he prepared and tasted it, making sure it was to the boys’ liking, and placed it into a bowl. He then poured the tea into a cup and brought it all out to the living room where Han was laying on the couch blowing his congested nose. Han let out a small groan and pulled the blanket he had on him up a little further. He placed an arm over his eyes and sighed as Lee Know set the cup and bowl down on the table nearby and took a seat on the couch.
“Hannie, you need to eat something before you can take more medicine. Let’s sit up now, okay?” Lee Know says softly. Han shakes his head and groans in response. “Nooooo…” “Hannie…” Lee Know places a hand onto Han’s side and gives it a gentle but firm squeeze, which almost signifies a “Get your ass up now or I will force you up.” But in a Lee Know sort of way. This makes Han’s eyes dart down to Lee Know’s hand and his arm lift a bit to see. Lee Know then lifted Han’s shirt up a bit and placed his cold hand on Han’s skin. Han jumped at this sudden attack and looked shocked at how this man would stoop to this level. “Yah, you can’t do that to a sick person hyung!” Lee Know scoffs and gives Han an eyeroll. He then looks down at Han and gives a challenging smirk. “Oh? Then are you going to get up and take the medicine? Or do I need to force you?” Han’s eyes widened as he gave a laugh followed by a few wet coughs when he heard what Lee Know said. Han hesitated for a moment before answering, almost weighing out all his options. Lee Know’s eyebrow raised, as if to say he was waiting for answer, then he slowly moved his hand towards Han’s side again. Inching closer every second that passed by, almost teasing the boy. Han gave the older boy an almost panicked look as he inched away slowly to avoid his touch.
“Hyuuunnnnggg!” The boy began to yell out in between laughs and coughs. “Are you going to eat something then?” Lee Know smirked again as he knew he was driving the younger crazy with his teasing. Han gave a nod and quickly replied with a smile, “Yes! I will hyung!” Lee Know was satisfied now and immediately grabbed the bowl to give to the younger. Han sat up and adjusted himself so he was in a comfortable spot. The older handed it over with a smile and Han received the bowl with a shocked, yet almost dumb founded, expression on his face. Lee Know motioned for Han to eat and then leaned his body back onto the couch and began looking through the movies available on the tv. Han gave a small scoff, but then immediately followed with a laugh and smile as he began to eat the soup. Once he finished, he placed the bowl on the floor and looked over at Lee Know. Lee Know locked eyes with Han and tilted his head. “Yes? Do you need something?” Han gave a smile that made Lee Knows heart flutter, but it was cut short when a sudden coughing fit took over Han’s body. Causing the younger to fall forward a bit as Lee Know began patting Han’s back and whispering soothing words. When he finished, Han looked up and gave Lee Know the puppy dog eyes and Lee Know’s heart started to flutter again. “Why is he so cute when he does this?” Lee Know brushed some of Han’s hair back out of his face and placed a hand on Han’s forehead. “Hannie, you’re so warm.” Lee Know quickly leaned over and grabbed the medicine for Han to take. Han gave a frown at the package, which made Lee Know give a tiny laugh inside.
“Hyung, I don’t want it…” Han whined as he rubbed his chilled arms to try and warm them up. Lee Know tilted his head and looked with a soft concerned look at his sick boyfriend. “Honey, you need to take this. It will make you feel better.” Han looked up at Lee Know with almost pleading eyes. “But I just wanna be with you..that makes me feel better.” Lee Know let out a small laugh and ran a finger down Han’s cheek. “I know baby, but just being with me is not going to take away that fever of yours. So how about you take this and then you can lay on me and watch a movie?” Lee Know said sweetly. Han thought for a moment, then held out his hand to take the medicine. Lee Know graciously gave it to him and watched as the younger swallowed the two pills and grimaced. “Alright, now come here...” Lee Know said with his arms open towards Han. Han slowly moved his aching body towards his boyfriend’s arms and snuggled into Lee Knows’ warm embrace. “Better?” Lee Know asked as he placed a small kiss onto Han’s head. Han nodded and snuggled into Lee Know’s neck as a movie was put on. Lee Know pulled the blanket up over Han and proceeded to run his fingers through the younger’s hair. Not long after the movie had started, Han was fast asleep. Leaving Lee Know to smile and admire the jewel of a boyfriend he had.
