manifesting the one💫
72 spiritual quotes by poet and philosopher Michael Bogild
There are abandoned people in this confused world of ours so extremely starved for human warmth and affection that a single act of true and sincere kindness could make a hugely positive effect on their hurt hearts.
Your wounds will by and by begin to heal when you compassionately discover and realize that psychological suffering belongs to the whole of mankind and not your egoic mind alone.
Let your awakened compassion become the mirror in which other’s see their true worth.
Love is not all there is, but it’s all that matters.
In order to reach the substantial you have to let go of the shadows.
We can never bury that which we resent or confusedly wish was different.
I am society and society is me (and in me). Its dysfunction is mostly that of my own inner psyche.
A man has two main fears: realizing his darkness and realizing his light.
For the blind and complaining man there are no opportunities in the world, for the earnest, alert and conscious man there is hardly nothing else to be found.
So many talented and virtuous people in this world have been lulled into a state of complete passivity. The world desperately needs them and they’re not even aware of it.
You don’t know what demons others are battling with. You don’t even remotely comprehend the deeper intricacies of their history, nor their innermost heart and soul. So be patient with them and if you can…forgive.
To lie (for many at least) is to slowly lose ones confidence as your psyche cannot respect a person who has to lie to be valued and accepted.
We wear our masks until we finally become them, that is, absurd.
Why do we always ‘fall in’ when we really should ‘stand out’ instead?
If a man sins against you must you necessarily return the vice? Is vengeance, I ask you now, not the highest (or should I not rather say the lowest) form of human hypocrisy? Is it not an blatant double standard in ethics and morality?
The ego desires us to normalize all but truth, love, courage, and alertness.
Are you really helpfully criticizing him (or her) or rather unloading old and unrecognized inner hurt?
The spiritual game-changer : when you finally and internally realize that you somehow, if not directly desire, then at least NEED your own hurt and sorrow, or rather, your inner ego does in order to keep its dysfunctions going.
The ego will literally tell you that love can be a sort of loss. How mad is that? To have you believe that a life of kindness and charity will actually hurt your happiness?
We’re all terribly good at confusing other people’s ego’s for our own.
You must love others more and yet also guard yourself more. Be kind and forgiving to the sinners while knowing what they are exactly. In short: compassion without naivete.
We absolutely love and appreciate being looked at and understood with compassionate eyes, so why don’t we ourselves practice that virtue some more?
Resentment is a continual and strenuous sort of contraction; a fist that keeps tightening indefinitely. Forgiveness, on the other hand, is a ‘letting go’, a gradual relaxing into peace and compassion.
Compassion is the most transformative and radical act there is. There is surely nothing greater or mightier than a kind and compassionate heart in this universe of ours.
If the “I” is at the center of your being, fairness, alertness, and compassion will not be.
The ego ever craves to judge others, the soul but to inquire and understand…and if it can manage it…to forgive.
The ego is an absolute master at turning the inconsequential into the essential and the essential into the inconsequential.
How very strange that it should take years and years for something we know to be true to finally and truly sink into our minds, hearts, and souls. Why does the total assimilation of a particular reality not occur instantly at the very moment of our being aware of it? What inside of us creates this colossal separation between the inner awareness and the actual psychological change?
Study with a brutal honesty what you actually really are and not what you wish you were nor what others believe you to be. Look inside — as far as you can — and then write day by day unto a journal everything you discover about yourself.
We all have had moments of absolute clarity, awareness, love, and purpose. So why the hell did we get dragged back into confusion and nonsense?
Compassion attempts to see the full picture, condemnation to label as quickly as possible.
Heaven for the ego is hell for the soul. If the ego get what it wants, trust me, you lose.
If you leave your mind unattended it shall surely drive into a catastrophic ditch.
There can be no actual and true sense of morality without the ongoing habit of earnest and honest confessions (to yourself or a higher spiritual power) since morality can only exist in an honest and courageous mind.
The simplest words of the loving heart beats the most exquisite words of the cunning ego.
Criticizing is far easier than empathizing. So take the road less traveled. Take the challenge.
the ego has one feeling only: the fear of death. In order not to suffer from this terrible truth — that non-existence one day will come to it — it will manically and neurotically assert and re-assert itself in the form of a thousand escapist distractions and intellectual delusions.
Don’t angrily criticize where you can lovingly educate.
The human intelligence is like a sharp knife, exceedingly great at dissecting information, but also a terrible instrument by which we blindly cut ourselves to pieces.
What would the universe be without connection, communication, and cooperation? It would be no universe at all I tell you. Love…love is the glue that holds everything together.
Why does the ego fear the total surrender into love and kindness? Because it absolutely dissolves the delusion of the separate and isolated self. Love is a holistic act, love is a wide embrace of the universe, and therefore must be feared by the limited and limiting ego.
The human ego worships isolation and separation through the mostly unconscious mental habits of endless comparisons, value judgments, discriminations, and favoritisms.
Exaggeration and minimalization are the main tools and symptoms of the escapist ego. It can only survive and thrive through dramatic and biased distortions of reality.
Watch your mind far oftener, the television far less.
Imitation is limitation.
Embrace your inner confusion and mental disorientation, for a total unknowing is absolutely required to reach the truth. Conclude all too hastily about a person or issue…and you will have gained nothing but another illusion.
The cynic is great at seeing what is and what has been…but not of what could be.
Don’t ever abuse your body because someone abused your mind.
Only love can bring us home.
Whenever you are about to perform an act…ask yourself: does my soul approve of this?
victim (noun) : a person who can drown in a drop of rain
Find out what thoughts lead to awareness and which lead to blindness.
Unless you attempt to love the world it will surely swallow you.
Most evil-doers have been the unfortunate victims of vast evil themselves. This breeds compassion in the clear-seeing heart.
LIFE must be willfully created, not passively waited for.
So tell me…has your ego been holding your heart or spirit hostage lately?
All roles comes from the ego’s morbid fear of you being courageously YOU.
The human ego is obsessed with and addicted to procrastination, except of course when it is insulted by another ego, then it must act instantly, and act with aggression.
Find the advantage in the disadvantage.
The darker the world becomes the more light you must spread.
Live from your soul, not from a role.
Know when you’re the sheep and when you’re the wolf…and always refrain from being either.
Make sure your heart and soul are more beautiful than your body and clothes.
Ego is the dream, love is the awakening.
If you identify with your inner hurt you are almost bound to hurt others.
The more you grow in understanding, compassion, and forgiveness the less you are able to be hurt by the world.
Is it really an obstacle or is God attempting to teach you resilience and creativity?
In being loving you teach others to be loving. The positive effect of kindness and compassion in this world is beyond immense.
The serious student forgets the teacher and looks at his ideas and arguments only. To erect a psychological authority is to accept and absorb the inevitable errors of that authority.
You will begin to cultivate compassion when you realize what the world would look like without it.
Only your angels can conquer your demons.
The noblest inquiry you can ever undertake is the empathetic investigation into the suffering of other people.
Behind every strong independent woman stands a little girl, who had to learn to stand up alone without depending on others

Embrace the change. Pause and stay present. Be curious about what the changes are bringing. Ask yourself empowering questions. What is trying to emerge? What qualities am I giving birth to? What talents are emerging?
you ever binge read all Brene Brown books 🥴 and then complain about being everyone’s therapist 🤦🏽♀️
