one of the the things i love the most about this show is how good it is at establishing just how intimate and close ava and deborah’s relationship is without even having to directly say it. like yeah of course they track eachother’s location. of course deborah has a silly photo of ava with a banana on her phone it’s probably half her photo gallery. of course ava has a photo of deborah she secretly stole from a comedy club because the owner of that club was an asshole and he didn’t deserve to have it (ava deserves to have it). and of course deborah also knows exactly where ava keeps that photo. of course ava has a bottle of krug in her car just lying there for months. of cours— I COULD GO ON FOREVER DO U SEE WHAT THIS SHIT IS

Everyone in Mary's life was trying to keep her stagnant and obeying. Her mother wouldn't let her leave the house by her own strict rules, Clark wouldn't let her leave the kitchen until she said what he wanted her to, the async scientists wouldn't let her go because of the information she could provide. Her whole life was basically just being stuck in the backrooms of everyone else's creation.
