Super rough sketch of my DnD character. Decided to opt for hybrid hair instead of pure feather, like her Phoelarch heritage would make. Also discovered that Dark Copper skin also meant mocha. I like the falcon eyes, the black schlera make her eyes look huge. #dnd #dnd5e #Phoelarch #half-elf
Revamped her proportions a bit more, I like her new strong shoulders, her curved hips and reshaped thighs. Though all of it is hidden under some prelim armor. The shapes aren't final but the protection are all there... Ignore the left... It's outdated. Ignore the grey, that's under construction. #characterdesign #character_design
Legion? Legionette? Legionetta? I want to give her an empowering name. I've started a long road with the name Legion in my offline work and I think it's fitting name for my mascot to don the name. There's also Legionette to add a little féminine touch, then there's Legionetta inspired from Bayonetta.
New... artist handle and new mascot. Used to call myself RBK Fantasia, but a lot has changed over the times and the original characters that the RBK was based from has moved onto better names. This new character is specific to my handle. Think I'll call her Legion or Legionetta or Legionette...
I didn’t know why I spent so much time going back to head basics when I should have moved on and draw advanced stuff.
Here she is, as a result of me giving myself the boot to create better. The drawing itself is not perfect as there are some perspective issues and sizes are wrong, facial expression doesn't quite reflect the tension so that's something on my agenda to improve.
Nonetheless, I’m happy to break out of my rut and producing stuff that I deem worthy of posting.

There are probably a ton of things wrong here, but I need to really get back to armor drafting.

Finally get to draw Akatsuki in some full armor. Compared to previous renditions, this armor set is quite a dial back times where steel, leather and linen are put to their limits. Aside from the necessary undergarments to avoid chaffing, Akatsuki is fitted with studded gambeson (which has metal scales underneath the top protective layers of linen) and finished with metal pauldrons and leather chestplate. The two-hander on her back is somewhat of an afterthought so the leather wrapping is not done very well. Because this is her younger days, her hair isn't as whacky as her earlier renditions. Also, perspective!

Did a quick draw for a Storium character and redrew it with different brushes and weight.
I’ve taken an open approach to the linework. Less restrictive and more confidence behind each stroke. Also did some quick colouring because it looks a lot better with colours. I think this is the best lips I’ve ever drawn.
