I have a license to be as gross and weird as I want because I'm trans and so does every genderfucked weirdo reading this. Be weird. People will hate you anyway.

*girl who recently killed herself*: and i guess i just couldn't live in that kind of isolation anymore. I felt like this was the last place i could ever hope to be myself.
*her guardian angel, balls-deep inside her, wondering if she really needs to tell this girl that she's been steering her into depression and suicidal ideation for the past few years just so she could fuck her in the afterlife*: damn babe, that sucks.
xena gave us trans drag lesbianism as a treat
There are layers to this. Earlier in the episode, Xena discovers her secret while they're sharing a locker room. A woman she has got naked with turned out to be trans. It's the exact scenario terfs are always fear-mongering about, but Xena just shrugs it off.
Also, the kiss was a big deal not just because it was gay but because the trans actress was HIV positive. They wanted to show the world that you can't contract HIV just from kissing someone. Bear in mind, the AIDS crisis was still fresh on people's minds in the 90s.
Happy Pride.

speaking of them growing.. look how bouncy they are now ^_^
I currently have Shinigami Eyes installed out of morbid curiousity about how bad it is and- lol. lmao even. 90% of red tags i've seen and looked at have just been "oh hey this person cares about trans men equally" and like HALF OF THEM ARE ALSO TRANS WOMEN ARE YOU OFF YOUR ROCKER? oh, and like- not every green tag, but a *lot* of them, if you go looking are really, really gross about non-trans women. It's so bad. It's so so bad. It's borderline performance art. - Velvette
Just as soon as I post this I see a blog show up red, check it out, it's a fairly normal cutesie queer blog but they posted "transmeds get lost" and a transmed- who upon closer inspection was also a white nationalist- replied to that insisting this was hatespeech and they had the right to talk to everyone including the normal blog, and being told no and getting blocked. It's- so bad it's sublime.
It's a credit system for being woke and it's an absurd thing that seems right out of some sci-fi polemic about "don't invent the Torment Nexus". A socially decided and voted upon score of "trust/don't trust" decided by - if I can be blunt- a very sensitive and traumatised and incredibly paranoid subculture of incredibly oppressed people??? This was never going to go well. - Velvette

Huffslove's Candy
the best death note joke format will forever be L asking light a simple question in which logical answer A might increase the likelihood of light being kira and logical answer B similarly might increase the likelihood of light being kira and after a short internal struggle light comes up with answer Y, which no human being has ever thought of as being a normal response in all of living history
the "what are your pronouns" comic is my fave example.
