my xena post about xena and miss artiphys is blowing up and people are being weird about my caption when IN THE SHOW miss artiphys is not described as specifically a trans woman or a drag performer, just someone with a secret (and both he/she pronouns are used in reference to her). shes played by karen dior- a drag queen. hence why i called xena and hers kiss “trans drag lesbianism” in my tumblr caption because it can be both. it was the 90s and not clear cut.
