First painting I've done in a year! It was a bit stressful, but I'm kind of happy with the results tbh.
Another peony page(I’m done, I swear)
More peonies!
A page from my sketchbook, I’ve been into peonies and clouds lately!
Take it from me, practicing art is boring and not very fun so if you feel like making a comic at your current skill level then just go for it, people will always care more about the writing, pacing and characters than the art.
Here’s another thing: although other artists tend to have very high standards, remember, you’re not making art for artists, you’re making it for everyone else, for musicians, writers, engineers, grocery store shelf stockers who love tnt dramas, doctors, lawyers. Don’t worry about other artists who hold things to a higher standard than 90% of regular people will! If you don’t believe this take a look at the quality of art on the Sunday comics someday and just try to tell me that those artists worry about perfect anatomy and color theory every day, and yet they’re massively successful! Anyway I’m done ranting
yess!! im not really a comic artist but the important part of improving in any type of art, visual, writing, etc is to actually do it and create content. practicing doesnt really progress your skill unless youre practicing by doing what youre aiming for
If you're new to doing comics, the best advice I can give is to make comics for yourself. Making 4 paneled comics about something that happened yesterday is a good way to practice. You become more observant of the things that happen around you. There's several comic book/zine/ graphic novel artists that publish a bunch of journalistic comics!
Just some guys being dudes!
Feel free to use these as your icons! (just tag me)

Another Usagi from a Sailor Moon Re-Draw
Has this been done yet? Because this is all I could think about tbh
My most recent self portrait as Sailor Moon 🌙💖
I went to an open house for this old mansion on Sunday and did some speed sketches.
P.S. It was a very haunted house
Another comic!
