Backstory That Formed in My Head:

Bonnie received these as gifts from Clemont because whenever he has to go away, she misses him loads and every return home ends with Bonnie clinging to her bro. This was especially a thing while they were younger too!

So with whatever little sewing experience he has, Clem makes a smol doll of himself pricking his fingers dozen times in the process and finishes them in days. He gives it to Bonnie with bandaged fingers.

“I thought I’d make you something so you’ll have a piece of me while I’m away,”

Then Bonnie stares at the doll in awe until she notices her brother’s bandaged fingers. She may be young but she can already tell exactly how he got those ‘Boo-boos’ and she knew how terrible Clemont is at sewing ; 3 ;

She takes the time to learn how to make dolls and makes two of herself because 'Big Brother deserves it.’ Of course Clemont breaks down with emotion thinking how lucky he is to have a sweet baby sister. He keeps one doll to himself while the other is in Bonnie’s hands (the one we see in the GIF).
