damn thats a lot of notes and a lot of vampire fuckers, i guess its time to raise the stakes

Cool bit #1 is done and boy howdy I’m in love with it. Like, I had no idea my hands could do this and now I really want it as a tattoo.

I’m about to paint all the white space on yesterday’s project, but I’m really excited to colour this in and draw a couple more cool bits.

And since I feel like I’ve annoyed my facebook friends enough with art shit lately, here’s some observations I’ve made.

Observation 1: it’s fucking WILD how using wiggly lines makes drawing things like a million times easier. It also looks really cool, too. But seriously, trying to draw with regular lines always gives me hot garbage, but wiggly lines? I’m actually somewhat competent.

Observation 2: when I started these projects yesterday, I had no idea what I wanted to draw so I just googled “dried flowers” and drew what I saw. I felt like I was cheating and not actually an artist, but then it hit me today- all artists draw what they see, whether it be in their head, right in front of them, or right in front of them on their phone lol so I feel better

Observation 3: now that I’ve cracked the wiggly line code, I’m SO excited about all the stuff I might be able to draw! I never want to stop.
