hey i’m spiral, and i hate to make another post, but i am a disabled gay trans man with very little money for even necessities, let alone rent due on the 1st. my abusive ex will only handle so much (he got stimulus, but i did not)

but i recently re-applied for housing to get away from him. the cover fee for this is 200 dollars, but i also have a chance finally to meet up with my boyfriend for the first time in our 10 years of knowing each other

i feel incredibly selfish but i need this so much, as it’s going to take a long time before we can live together for real

i’m not sure just how much i’ll be needing but anything at all helps!!

i’ll guesstimate about 1,2000 if i skimp on bare minimums

my dear sweet bf constantly has his family demanding money from him and recently paid to have a friend travel only to turn around and say he was being exploitative, sent a barrage of insults, and demanded more money from him despite him fully funding her trip and blocked all communications with him.

The It Lives Project

In light of the recent news that Pixelberry has cancelled all future books for the It Lives anthology, a group of dedicated fans has come together to create our own final book. We are calling it the It Lives Project, and this is the official blog to follow for any news, updates, and information.

WHO WE ARE

We are just a group of passionate It Lives fans, creators, writers, and artists who came together to give this story the ending it deserves.

OUR GOAL

Our goal is to create a visual novel to tell the final chapter of the It Lives story. We will release a full-sized book (15-20 chapters) with a story controlled by player choices. The finished product will be playable online, and we plan to share it for all players to enjoy. Using programming software, we’ll recreate the Choices format with different choice trees and outcomes to tell a new story. The story will include a fresh, gender-customizable MC and four new love interests, all while incorporating player choices from the previous novels.

People who “want trauma” are recognizing, on some level, that they were traumatized but in a way that’s not “socially recognized” as trauma. What they really want is for people to see that they’ve been traumatized and be on their side

I think it’s also important to talk about mental illness, and how the pain and trauma of being mentally ill as a kid is often diminished because of the lack of outside actors. If you spent your childhood being suicidally depressed because your wee little kiddo brain decided to be a chemical shitshow, it doesn’t matter how much mom and dad loved you, that kinda thing fucks you up. And having people only look at your external surroundings and argue that “nothing bad happened” ignores all the pain you went through internally. So wishing you could have something external you could point to in order to justify that pain and enduring stress -- just so people could understand -- makes sense.
