Cousin!Leona can be found napping in random stages. He does not want to be rolled up, but allows himself because the King demands it. Cousin!Chiyuki is based on her companion Little Sweet Melon and Calming Calabash (she is shy, so she doesn’t show herself). I’ve been playing We ❤︎ Katamari and although I suck at it, it’s very charming, cute and has an amazing soundtrack!

Tomodachi Life updates: Floyd and Jade now have their own kids! I feel like Azul is wondering when his friends are coming back to NRC. Poor guy is all alone…

Nicole and Jade get along well, and for some reason so does Floyd and Chiyuki? Leona once got jealous of the two hanging out, so he was walking in between the two during a conversation. It was so cute seeing Leona flail his arms hehe 💜 they made up and are back to being soulmates ^ - ^

Jade’s son’s first words were “style savvy fashion forward”.

The Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream experience 🌼✨

This is my first tomodachi life game (I was somewhat familiar with the 3Ds game prior to the switch release, but never actually played it) and I’m loving it so far! So far I have a little over 20 characters? Nicole and Varka are my first couple on the island (brought them over from the demo). They have their own daughter (second drawing), but I also noticed they often visit Miffy and play with her, so I treat Miffy as their adoptive daughter. Varka is always hanging out with the other miis (usually miffy, my dog, sometimes Phos and Floyd). I feel like since he is one of my older miis, he’s kind of taking care of others? Nicole is also friends with my oc Chiyuki and Coco (from animal crossing). Nicole is honestly one of my favs on the island! She was the first one to ask to give me a nickname and she always gives me silver coins!

My Leona and Chiyuki got married (ofc I’m desperate) and had a girl! I heard some people complain about a baby mini game from the previous instalment, but now the miis spend like no time as a baby?? So yeah, I made their daughter a teen (I don’t know if my switch will work like 10 years from now). Anyways, her name is Mara and she does not care about 80% of people on my island. But somehow she got along with Floyd and they got married. I suppose that makes her Jade’s sister in law??

Surprisingly, Floyd and Leona get along well! They often play soccer with the other miis. Jade doesn’t interact much in large groups. He prefers taking photos around the island.

Nina Holly R. ~ Creating a pyro support! ✨🧡🔥

I have heard that Varka isn’t the best DPS, especially if you compare him to the Nodkrai characters released before him (oh and Skirk + Escoffier). I remember talking to someone who said they were saving up for him, but then decided to stop saving when they saw his kit. Of course, meta isn’t that important unless you’re trying to do abyss or some other endgame content, but I wanted to try designing a pyro support for him!

Her name is Nina Holly R. Her mom and dad had trouble picking a name for her, so they did rock paper scissors (best 2 out of 3. If it was modern day, they would have went onto pokémon showdown and did a best 2 out of 3 match with some VGC rules. Or maybe they can try pokémon champions? I heard that game is coming out soon, but some pokémon haven’t been added yet like porygon2. Idk if Varka would even know meta mons like ogerpon ) to decide her first and middle name. This is most definitely not a reference to another character with the same VA as Varka who has a daughter named Holly (ora).

For Nina’s kit (pyro, 4 star, claymore):

Bursts summons a pyro construct that passively applies pyro status onto enemies within a certain radius

Passive skill will boost the damage of all pyro reactions while the structure is on the field

Each time a pyro reaction occur, Nina can boost the next’s reaction damage by 15%/25%/35% (max out at 35%)

When the construct is destroyed, on field ally gains elemental particles

Hexerei skill: triggering a pyro reaction reduces ally skill CD

I’m not entirely sure if this would be a good support kit for him. Unfortunately, his only good pyro support that I can think of is Durin? I missed his banner and heard he needs his signature weapon to work (why hoyo…) hopefully Nicole can also work as a good substitute!

Side note: character design is so hard, I have tons of respect to character designers! As I was finishing up the skecth, I noticed Nina reminded me a lot of Hikari (arcaea)

Plans for the future? 🌱✨🌻🦁 (lore below)

Chiyuki casually revealing she is a lot more competent and smarter than others would assume. In her lore, she did train under her kingdom’s ruler for several months, so Chiyuki’s close to figuring out how to use her magic to the full potential! I hope Leona would gain a new appreciation for Chiyuki if he learned that she wasn’t just a silly and carefree (if we ignore her backstory) garden fairy.

I decided to try something newish by adding an actual background? I’m still not great with drawing plants and nature so it’s a start?

For those who are interested ⭐️:

For almost two centuries, Chiyuki has been retreating to her imaginary world- a pocket dimension within her mind. All of her dreams in the real and imaginary world are stored within a large tree. Flowers sprouting from the branches retain past dreams, like mini worlds in the centre of each flower. Dreams are itself a weak form of magic, unimpressive on its own, but can enhance one’s own magic when consumed.

The magic from the dream world was what Chiyuki used to create her “imaginary friends”. The first one she ever created was Little Sweet Melon (based on artistic depictions of a white eye warbler).

I am currently saving pulls for Nicole (aka favourite yapper). According to leaks, she should be here two patches from now? I pulled for Varka and I really enjoyed his personal story quest! 🌼💚 I heard Durin and Venti are good supports for him, but unfortunately I have neither of them (⌒-⌒; ) anyways, i love these two

Aside from Genshin, I haven’t really been doing much TWST related (as usual the only time I read lore and stories is for Genshin. Somehow I can get through Aranyaka and Narzissenkreuz just fine but barely manage with TWST?). I think I got a drawing planned so more Leona content coming!

Thinking about how realistically the two would be incompatible (sad reality i haven’t fully accepted yet as a sort of self shipper? Chiyuki isn’t 100% me but sort of lives out some of my fantasies?? Idk the word for it). Like Chiyuki isn’t really a well thought out OC (I tried making one in the past but got bored. Sorry Einar Kepler). Realistically I doubt she would survivw at NRC because she would skip class to do whatever she wanted at the moment. Girl is like 200 years old and just escaped her mundane life on an island that never changes. She sees the world as her playground now. She has nothing left to lose at this point!

And while I was mulling it over, I came up with this? Thought it would also to hint at some of Chiyuki’s abilities (communicating with plants, entering pocket dimensions fueled by dream energy and storing dreams as flowers…um making wine??)

Chiyuki loves giving Leona lots of hugs. After he accepted her confession, Chiyuki made sure to remind Leona how much she loves him every moment she got. Chiyuki wasn’t around when Leona overblotted. But if she was, I think she’d be very worried for his safety. She’d have to be held back from trying to save him. Injuries aren’t a concern to her if it means saving the one she cares about the most. And despite Chiyuki being fairly passive, she is a lot more capable than she looks! If Chiyuki was somehow hurt, Leona would never forgive himself. This drawing is just some silly hypothetical if Leona would be able to freely overblot and have full control in the real world.

The plushie Chiyuki is holding is a re-imagined version of the fallen god her homeland was built upon. Garden fairies from Chiyuki’s homeland are born from the flowers the sprout for the fallen god’s body. So in a way, it’s also her parent.

Back when the Savanaclaw part of book 7 released, I was a bit sad that we wouldn’t be getting a card for Dream!Leona…but at least with the overblot cards, we can have these outfits on our main menu!! He looks so good! (*^ω^*)
