I was an hour into saving face and I kinda wasn't moving. Some of the symbolism and imagery was beautiful and I fucking love Wil (even if the performance was a little...wooden...) for being a beautiful lesbian girl failure. Joan Chen lived in her role, she was SOOO good. I loved it when she got porn from the video store and was scared to be caught watching it lmfao. I was more interested in the family dynamics playing out than Vivian and Wil's alleged romance

And my opinion instantly turned around at the wedding scene. Cinema, oh my god. That ruveal was iconic! The ending was satisfying enough. Loved the lil mid-credits scene as well
