im so powerful right now. my theories are proven true.

the complex dissolves reality, trying to replicate and its seemingly improving.

after 4 years i finally get confirmation that the lifeforms are trying to be humans.

the first hole into the backrooms was made by async, and it makes sense they would be the first people to go in. async employees carry technology, which may be why early lifeforms look like they have wirey components. whoever first saw one obviously wouldve panicked so now the complex thinks thats what humans do. they run and scream.

clark seriously fucked up eating the later entities. its the only way to survive, but the backrooms doesn't understand his reason. it sees the absolute basics of structure, and now it thinks people shapes eat people shapes. it barely even knows what a person is. presumably its only getting better at replicating humans because more people fall in after some time.

the bacteria in autopsy report are probably similar. theyve been misremembered and this mutated them. early lifeforms aren't even recognisable as humans, so maybe the relatively more simple structure of a single celled bacterium is easier to copy? that would explain why theyre identified as bacteria at all, but they could also be from further in the process.

if the backrooms misunderstand space, why not time? thats why the time travel happens. its not time travel, its time itself functioning wrong, like the complexs effect on a 1d space instead of 3d space.

the entities are now definitely violent (which was debated for a While since it was never seen what exactly happened to victims), which implies its getting that from somewhere. maybe its copying people stuck there fighting. peter fired a gun, so it could copy that with a ranged attack.

interestingly the complex seems to copy based on where null zones are. the furniture store null zone has furniture everywhere and the office building looking areas seem to be copying the async buildings office design. what limit is there on null zones? do they center around the threshold or are they more even? is it possible that much of the complex is copying the ocean, space, or the core of the earth and its just at a location far away from the null zones people are likely to fall in?

im aroallo and i often think about the hypocrisy of our culture, like alotta our culture is very sex centric, every other song is about sex and there's a million dudes trying to get you to buy their shitty misogynist scam course so you can fuck chicks good or something but at the same time due to purity culture you're not really allowed to enjoy sexuality, you're "supposed" to experience it but you can't be happy about it because it's "impure", i find people are often ok with romantic and sexual stuff but not purely sexual stuff cuz i guess romance is somehow "inherently pure" (LOUD INCORRECT BUZZER) unfortunately as an aroallo i don't have that 'purifying' quality to me and many view those like me as perverts. no one really wins

just saw a 'comments' tab on someones blog you know where the following and likes tabs would be if enabled and it was just showing all the replies theyve made on peoples posts. this is fascinating when did this feature come out

if you've made replies on posts there is now a tab on your blog showing every post youve replied to and your reply.

if this is not what you want, either go to your blog and click comments and disable it from there or just go to your individual blogs setting pages. just change it from blue to grey if you dont want everyone to see your replies AND the post you're replying to

PLEASE BE ADVISED that it is set to disabled for blogs that have not made any replies but it will turn ON if you reply with that blog in the future.! i just tested it with my main, which was greyed out but it turned on the moment i left a test reply

figured i'd get the word out bc i have not seen a single mention of this and i'm sure there are plenty of people who maybe comment on things they don't want on display for everyone to see on their blog lol. you can still look at your replies with it toggled off just no one else can, like locking the following and likes list

so for some reason this feature was actually announced on the tumblr engineering blog. interesting choice not to reblog it to the staff or tumblr blog, esp considering they asked for user input on how to implement it, but i suppose considering the response to the last update maybe the replies would be too overwhelming...

so couple of clarifications. comments are disabled as default for primary blogs that have their likes disabled. they are seemingly enabled for all other blogs that have replied to posts

posts you comment on may show on your followers 'for you' page if you leave your replies publically available. they may, in the future, show in on your followers dashboard if your follower goes to their dash settings and enables this. apparently, if your likes are enabled, your followers can already see those on the dash if they've gone into preferences and selected to do so, which I was unaware of, and that seems to be disabled at default, but it's possible i disabled it previously and forgot about it ig

You know what’s really fucked up

I’ve been standing up for Palestine for years now, literal years, for fucks sake I am a Palestinian, I center Palestinians. And just because I come to a different conclusion than the majority, or I find out about something that was actually really hard for me to come to terms but is true, I have gotten over 30 death threat anons in the last 3 hours, cursing me for:

1. Humanizing Israelis

2. Humanizing Jews

3. Having a conversation with a Jew (that was months ago yet somehow it’s news now)

4. That Jew being Israeli

5. Having a convo with a different Jew

6. That Jew not being Israeli (they actually got mad that a talked to a non Israeli Jew)

7. Calling myself a Palestinian (even though I am one…)

8. Wanting peace

9. Not encouraging the Hezbollah-Israel war BECAUSE I DONT WANT MORE DEATH (and I’m in Lebanon and I swear I’m gonna pass out if I hear about another bomb)

11. Not wanting death in both sides (it’s ok if I don’t want death on the Palestinian but the second I also don’t want death in the Israeli side suddenly I’m a mastermind spy that’s been working against Palestinians since day 1)
