Macaroni finding out he’s gonna have a baby and planning a getaway out of the city to settle down somewhere nice until the baby arrives
Except his plans are foiled by the next big bad, and like Macaque is all for dipping out cause like that seems like a job for the heroes, that he’s not (denial is a river in Egypt) but MK convinces him to at least help them figure out what’s going on
So he comes along for the road trip and he’s vibing doing the minimum effort of everything and resolutely deciding to abandon the whole trip if it gets too dangerous, while also actively trying to avoid Wukong because he knows he’ll be figured out as soon as the king gets a proper read on his magic energy and he’s still not ready to reveal the big news because they might be tentative allies but this is a whole new level
Idk just a lot of beating around the bush, road trip stuff, chaos, a lot of chaos
Anyways whoever the big bad is this time around being the first one to figure out Macaque is with baby, and maybe if it’s Chaos, it being fascinated by the concept of non gods being able to create life is so foreign to it and becoming obsessed with Macaque creepy style,,, Wukong definitely goes feral mode multiple times because of this lmaoo
