HAPPY MIRAI MONDAY
I wish youtube let you say "don't recommend me this channel" with shorts.

There is? At least on my browser. Though you have to be on the short to work it. It's the menu with the three dots on the top.
Combiner War of the Monsters Ch. 1
Combiner War of the Monsters
Chapter 1
Transformers Godzilla crossover
Earth. Homeworld to the human race. Guest home to two factions of alien robots, the Transformers.
Autobots and Decepticons, battling it out, humanity caught in between. All of them thought they knew the stakes in this eons old war.
All of them were wrong.

An island near Japan…
Two vehicles were driving over rough terrain, their destination not near any road, let alone on any map.
“We really gotta rough it like this, Jackie?”
“Didn’t take you for the fragile type.”
Even in his car form, Jazz scoffed. “I just don’t see the point of driving like this, not like we’d have to stealth it this far in the boonies.” They both paused as the ground shook, kicking up pebbles and dust. “And that’s the third quake since we got here/”
Wheeljack would have rolled his eyes if he had them at the moment. “We’re almost there. Relax.” The Autobot scientist said as they crested a hill and saw a group of people standing in front of a cave entrance.
“There’s the folks we’re supposed to meet, right?” Jazz asked. “Looks like military types.”
“Japanese defense forces.” Wheeljack confirmed. “They were the ones that contacted Optimus.”
As they drove up most of the troops moved clear, leaving the commanding officer to step forward. “Welcome.” They greeted with a salute. “Thank you for your swift arrival.” An older man not in uniform looked on in confusion.
“Not a problem, boss.” Jazz said. “Optimus said you found energon out here?”
“We aren’t sure.” The CO said. “During a submarine exercise we picked up radiation readings that weren’t in any of the sub’s databases. When they reported it, we checked it and our government said to report it to you.”
"I'm getting it too.” Wheeljack confirmed. “Definitely traces of energon radiation.”
"Are we... in any danger here?" The older man asked.
"No need to worry, energon radiation is noticeable but hardly ever lethal." Wheeljack said.
"What a relief. We've been worshiping here for years, I'd hate for it to be lethal in some way."
"Worship?" Jazz chimed. "This some kinda holy place or something?"
"Holy isn't quite the right word." The man noted. "According to legend this place is the site of a cursed object, sealed away when a terrible disaster struck the island."
Almost as if on cue the ground shook. "That "disaster" wouldn't happen to be an earthquake, would it?"
"No one is sure, but these quakes ARE quite strange."
"Could that have something to do with the energon reading, Jackie?" Jazz checked.
Wheeljack's wipers swiped up and down, mimicking an armless shrug. "Can't really tell till we get optics on it. Either way, I wouldn't want to be underground if a big one hits."
"Then we should get going. How deep is this cave?" Jazz directed this question to the JSDF officer.
"Pretty deep." The officer confirmed. "Forward team traveled over half an hour before being called back."
"Then let's roll before something collapses and causes more trouble." Jazz suggested.
The cave was too short for them to walk through, so the Autobots would have to drive their way in. Wheeljack went first, followed by his fellow Autobot.
The cave was deep, like a long corridor that turned and curved to go even deeper still. As they drove the scientist popped small devices out from his trunk. "Losing cargo, Jackie?"
"Signal boosters." Wheeljack explained. "Depending on how deep we go underground, I don't want to lose connection to base." He noted as another one latched to the cave ceiling.
"Smart." Jazz noted. "Though on that subject." There was a soft buzz as he activated his communicator. "Jazz to base. You read me, fellas?"
"We read you, Jazz." Optimus Prime's voice responded. "Do you have a status report?"
"Heading underground now to investigate the energon reading."
"Good, but use caution. If the humans' sensors were able to detect this so easily, we have every reason to believe the Decepticons could as well."
Another voice spoke up. "They HAVE been weirdly quiet lately. Are we even sure they are on planet anymore?" Bumblebee asked.
"If they had left the planet, Cosmos would have likely spotted them." Optimus pointed out. "We must stay vigilant."
"Speaking of vigilance-" Wheeljack spoke up. "- there's something weird about this tunnel's walls."
"S' matter, Jackie? Not getting claustrophobic on me, are ya?" Jazz asked while the pair rounded a tight corner that led deeper underground.
Wheeljack flashed his lights in annoyance. "Its not that. Look at walls, they weren't carved out by erosion, and definitely not by Earth tools."
"So whatcha thinking?"
"I dunno... reminds me of the tunnels we built around the Ark."
"You believe it was carved out by laser drills?" Optimus asked over comms. "Between that and this energon reading... Could something Cybertronian be there?"
"Maybe? It's too degraded by age to tell. Just a familiar feeling."
A silence settled as they considered the ramifications of that possibility. A silence broken by yet another quake. "We better be getting close, that felt stronger than the last shake!" Jazz noted.
"According to my scans we're right on top of... oh." Wheeljack braked in front of an ornately carved doorway. Tall enough for Optimus Prime to have walked through. Whatever designs had been there had faded with age, but the shape reminded them a little of Grimlock.
And in the chamber beyond was a glowing object sitting on a dust colored metal altar.
"Seems we found it." Jazz noted, his sarcasm only slightly tempered by awe.
As the Autobots entered the chamber they were pleased to see it was large enough for them to stand in. Transforming to robot mode, the pair drew closer to the object. It resembled a glowing blue globe, rotating on its own, but it looked like pieces of it were missing. Like a 3D puzzle only partly completed.
"Sending visual now, Optimus." Wheeljack reported, running his own scans as well.
"Impossible..." The Autobot leader muttered. "It was lost before the Great War."
"You recognize it, boss man?"
"I do, Jazz. You stand before one of the lost relics of Cybertron. The Enigma of Combination." As the two field agents processed this, Optimus was audibly dishing out orders to those at the base. "You two need to secure the area. I'm sending a team to help extract it."
The pair of Autobots looked at each, lightly confused. But before either of them could raise a question, the ground shook once more.
And cracks started to form in the wall.
~~~
At the Autobot base...
"Bumblebee, tell Cosmo to focus his recon on the airspace around that island." Optimus ordered, voice tense with a haste he rarely showed.
Bee swiftly moved to obey.
"Silverbolt, take Swoop ahead of us and secure the area." Optimus pointed to the gathered flyers. "I'll finish putting together a team here and follow soon."
Silverbolt gave a swift salute before changing to jet mode. "With all available speed." He took off out the open hanger door, the flying Dinobot just barely on his heels.
Grimlock, lingering nearby in his robot form, grumbled in annoyance. "What's so special about this gizmo that you gotta conscript one of MY boys?"
"The Enigma of Combination is an artifact from prewar Cybertron." Optimus began, ignoring Grimlock's hostile tone. "In the modern age, Transformers have to be specifically built, or at least heavily modified, to combine their bodies and minds. The Enigma bypasses all of that."
"So any pair of bots could combine with each other?" Prowl asked, having caught up with the larger pair.
"More than that, Prowl." Optimus continued. "Any number of robotic lifeforms could combine into one being. With their power vastly increased."
"The whole is greater than the sum of its parts made manifest." Prowl mused. "I see why you are so eager to retrieve it then."
Grimlock chuckled. "Finally looking to boost yourself a bit, Prime?"
"This is no laughing matter, Grimlock." Optimus snapped back. "If the Decepticons discover the Enigma, or worse, capture it, Megatron will not hesitate to use it to increase the power of his forces."
"So we get there and use it before him!" Grimlock shot back. "The only question is who gets to use it!"
"IF we use it!" Optimus returned. "We must remember the big picture, power like this is far too easy to abuse."
Grimlock snarled. "I think you're just being a coward! Cosmo hasn't seen any sign of the Cons, so you can take your "caution" talk and shove it up your exhaust pipe." He tapped an oversized finger against Prime's chest.
"Grimlock!" Prowl snapped indignantly, ready to launch a disciplinary tirade. He paused when Optimus held up a hand.
Optimus didn't break eye contact with the larger bot. "Listen to me, Grimlock. This is not the time for one of your tantrums." The Dinobot growled at the implications of that statement. "If you cannot remember our mission here on Earth then-"
"Optimus!" Bumblebee called from the comm station. "We just lost contact with Jazz and Wheeljack!"
~~~
Back in Japan...
Jazz and Wheeljack took cover close to the shrine as the cave shook. The wall opposite the entrance suddenly shattered and collapsed.
And out stepped the Decepticon, Rumble. "Told you I could get us there without being noticed by... Autobots!"
The diminutive bot jumped back as two more Decepticons surged forward. "I told you this was taking too long!" Starscream snarled, cannons at the ready.
"It does not matter." The ominous monotone voice of Soundwave filled the cavern. "Destroy them, retrieve the source of the energy reading."
"Don't order me around!" Starscream snarled, but started firing anyway.
Wheeljack and Jazz ducked behind the cover of the shrine. Luckily whatever it was made of was sturdy enough to take the Decepticon's shots.
"Guess that explains the weird shakes." Jazz noted as he fired back a few blind shots from their cover.
"And explains why we haven't seen the Cons in a while." Wheeljack added.
After a few more shots, Wheeljack hit on a plan. "We can't let them get the artifact! Grab it and I'll cover you."
"I ain't leaving you to face these Cons alone!"
"I'll be right behind you!" Wheeljack hefted a small device. "Just gotta make sure they don't follow." Jazz nodded before snatching the Enigma and transforming to vehicle mode.
"Eat grenade, Cons!" Wheeljack tossed the device at the pair before transforming as well.
Starscream shrieked as the device landed near him. "Take cover!" He jumped away, covering his head as the Autobots sped away.
Soundwave picked up the "grenade" and examined it. "This is not an explosive."
"What?" Starscream examined the small device, revealing it to be a transmitter of some kind. "Argh! You fool!" He smacked the device away. "You let the Autobots escape!"
"Says the guy cowering." Rumble laughed before cowering himself when the Seeker punched the wall above him.
Soundwave ignored the pair, scanning the tunnel the Autobots had fled down. "Rumble. Sending data. Can this tunnel be collapsed without harming us?'
Rumble received the data and chuckled. "Not a problem! Just wait here!" The smaller Decepticon walked over to a wall, tapping it gently with his pilesrivers. While Starscream crossed his arms impatiently and Soundwave tucked away the signal booster he’d picked up, Rumble suddenly chuckled. "Clench your exhaust vents!"
He slammed both piledrivers into the wall and the whole cave shook.
Further up the tunnel, the shaking forced Wheeljack and Jazz to slow down. "They really don't want us escaping with this thing."
Suddenly the cave ceiling collapsed in front of them. "Whoa there!" Jazz skidded to a halt. "No getting out that way!" As he said that a similar cave in happened behind them. "We're trapped!" He transformed, the artifact gripped tight. "I don't see much of a way out of this, Jackie!"
Wheeljack transformed too. "Optimus would have sent help! We just gotta-"
A particular strong tremor knocked them off balance. Jazz grabbed the wall, Wheeljack grabbed Jazz's arm.
And the Enigma of Combination started to glow.

Wild dream last night, gonna talk about it
Had one of the most wild ass dreams last night. It was a combination of Legends ZA, Outlaw Star, Super Mario and a Spy drama. First I was cleaning a room that had dead tree saplings and a petrified octopus?
Then, as I was taking a break from that, I got invited to join some Lumiose wide event by Gene Starwind and Jim Hawking. But when we got there parts of the city were being "patrolled" by a new group that were basically a Eugenics cult, but more on them later.
So we do a bunch of Legends ZA stuff, catching new Pokemon. Some of which were completely new based on Mario enemies and random ideas. (Convergent form of Geodude called Geodent, pure steel type?) There was also a mini game run by a Power Rangers villain and Bowser Jr involving a crocodile?
Then things started to really pick up. We met a new professor character who introduced us to a detective that was investigating the new evil team and wanted out help. We met a new love interest for Jim who knew him and Gene somehow. And as we were investigating the city I accidentally parkoured into a futuristic construction site but got down all right.
Then there was a segment where Deadpool was running around with a lightsaber to investigate the cult leader? There was a game over when he accidentally killed them using the lightsaber to collapse a building, but he used quick save files to get the leader alive. At which point we learned that the cult leader was a fake!
The real leader was the detective!!
The as our group was going to confront the real evil leader, we found the city was almost locked down by the evil team. Luckily Jim's new love interest was an expert disguise artist and made herself look like t he daughter of someone that could be waved through.
When we couldn't find the detective OR the professor we split up to look for clues. Then the detective confronted us and revealed he had kidnapped Jim! We had to let him go, but Gene noticed it wasn't really Jim, but the new girl disguised as him. She even left us a clue as to how to find the real Jim.
It starts to get a little foggy after that. We met up with Jim and a couple allies I don't remember meeting. Gene and Jim pieced together where they knew the new girl from. We started planning the heist/rescue operation. in a public bathhouse for some reason.
And then I woke up.
I really wanted to see that ending. Or at least what Geodent evolved into. Also a bunch of minor and/or fucked up stuff happened. Don't want to get into it so I don't have to post a trigger warning on this post.
"I'm at Gun"
"What do you mean you're at Gun?!"
Okay but if you made a Zelda game what would it be like? Pitch that shiz.
Alright here’s features I would love in the next one
1.) Keep the open world aspect, but add difficultly areas that would be easier to traverse with particular item
2.) Elemental Temples with classic puzzle solving, at least 6-8 of them, can be cleared in any order, but story progression is triggered by each temple cleared, nothing story wise gets repeated to you.
3.) Bring the arsenal of items back, clawshot/hookshot can be used to give you a head start in climbing, multi-set of bombs for specific regions or climates. Digging claws to go through soft soil. Diving gear to explore river or ocean depths.
4.) Stamina in the overworld is treated by Elden ring or Wuwa rules, it only triggers when in Combat, scaling a wall, or using glider. Running around the world passively doesn’t trigger it.
5.) Mixture of the green tunic with the style choices Breath and Tears brought with it for his default attire
6.) Pieces of heart back, and recovery hearts in the overworld. Food is limited to by a hunger meter, once Link is full, you’re on a cooldown from using dishes.
7.) Weapon durability overhaul, rusty or basic weapons will shatter on use, unique ones require a challenge to find, don’t permanently break, and can be repaired by either Link or Blacksmith.
Oh and the most important thing
The Zoras will remain hot.
Yknow what, I like your Moxie
Gerudo, 6x as hot, and taller, they will hoist Link up like a ragdoll
Goron, 10x as Hot, bulkier, enough to make Bears look like twinks
Sheikah, very hot, but you will never see it unless you remove their cowls-
Will this hypothetical Zelda game feature a magic instrument?
Yes actually, the one thing I missed was Link being essentially a bard
Give that boy a damn Lyre this time around
Now, here be MY question
Will there be a new antagonist in this Zelda game you's cookin' up? and if there WILL be, then what would they be like?
It would likely be someone adjacent to Yuga or Vaati,
Keeping the “Demise Cycle” curse true to Zelda lore, but not Ganon or Dragmire.
will you let me use the Sheikah slate and the Rauru arm at the same time? Like even as a post-game thing it’d be very fun to use stasis in concert with recall and stuff.
I’m more exhausted from Rune mechanics personally.
But, since Zelda as a whole loves time themes (it’s literally in almost every game)
I would introduce a pocket watch that can act as recall and/or stasis, or even prince of Persia logic where it’s tied to the player to reverse their own mistakes or solve short timed puzzles in dungeons.
Okay. So what about a companion character? Our Navi, our Midna, our Fi?
Considering I’m actually brainstorming this now
Change the Lyre to an Erhu, and the companion is a small dragon spirit that lives within the Erhu.
Is it going to fit into the establishmed "timeline" or is it going to continue to break it?
Timeline placement these days is really tricky, but if I wanted to sell it that Ganondorf is out of the picture it would likely go in the Timeline way after Twilight Princess (set 1000s of years after)
But would there be romance options? I feel like I have been waiting since OoT on the N64 for Link to actually make out with someone.
I would much prefer to keep it ambiguous. But I’d say at least one person from each faction (with some exceptions) is fascinated romantically by him, so then it leaves it up to the players own experience who wins them over.
That's fair.

The Aura Arms
RWBY/Hades 2 Weapon Crossover
Since I finished Hades 2, I got to thinking about crossovers and fanfics!
….I couldn’t think of any.
Not storywise at least, but I do think if RWBY ever got the chance, they could make Aspects for the Nocturnal Arms based on team RWBY.
And one bonus.
Not based on any sort of real balance, mostly just what I think would be cool. Just picture Melinoë using the following:
"I see your crimson blade blossoming into a new future."
Crescent Rose aspect
Base weapon: Zorephet, the Moonstone Axe
Attack: standard swings
Omega attack: spinning attack with extra range thanks to Crescent Rose's blade extending
Special: sniper shot
Omega special: charge up for high damage gravity shot
Sprint: turns Melinoë into cloud of rose petals with increased dodge chance, can't dash attack
"I see you reflecting on a new path forward."
Myrtenaster aspect
Base weapon: Descura, the Witch's Staff
Attack: stab combo that moves Melinoë forward
Omega attack: single thrust dash that leaves behind ice spikes
Special: shoots fire, ice and lighting blasts with successive casts
Omega special: combined shot of all three that explodes in large vortex on impact
Cast: create gravity glyph that slows enemies that enter it
Omega cast: summons Armor Gigas arm that slashes area
"I see your black fangs tear their way to liberty."
Gambol Shroud aspect
Base weapon: Lim and Oros, the Sister Blades
Attack: normal combo
Omega attack: normal charge
Special: multi pistol shot fires a small spread of bullets in straight line
Omega special, blade swing in wide arch around via the ribbon
Dodge, leaves behind a clone that will perform basic attack combo
"I see your fists of gold defy all expectations."
Ember Cecilia aspect
Base weapon: Xinth, the Black Coat
Attack: three punch combo that fires short range blast on final hit
Omega attack: punches ground to create shockwave
Special: two shot long range attack
Omega special: inert until a special gauge fills. The gauge charges whenever Melinoë takes damage. Activate when fill to increase damage for a time
"I see your unending grudge that creates conflict."
Grimm aspect
Base weapon: Revaal, the Argent Skull
Attack: Normal but with Grimm Masks
Omega Attack: Normal but with Grimm Masks
Special: Normal but with Grimm Masks
Omega Special: Normal but with Grimm Masks
Hex: Melinoë holds up the skull while it shrieks like an Apathy Grimm, causing all enemies on screen to slow down and deal less damage for a time.
…..I couldn’t think of anything for the Umbral Flames. Actually I kinda forgot it existed among the weapons while coming up with these. Not many weapons in RWBY are wand shaped, let alone dual wielded like that. I supposed if I REALLY tried I could swap Yang onto them and put Penny on Xinth but that’s probably more complicated than I want to make it.

Halo: Remnant
Chapter 1
Halo: Remnant
Chapter 1
RWBY/Halo crossover
"So much for things going to plan!" Cortana griped.
"We'll manage." Chief noted as he fired into the oncoming horde.
The descent into this planet’s atmosphere had been blissfully quiet. No ships came to intercept them, no transmissions hailing them, no surface to air fire trying to down them.
The empty city of wrecked buildings raised some questions though.
Clearly this wasn’t the work of the Covenant but there was no sign of what had actually caused the damage, let alone any attempts to rebuild. At least it meant no one was around to question their presence, and it left plenty of cover to hide the Pelican.
No sooner had they landed the drop ship in a discrete opening of a broken building when it happened.
Dozens of black beasts, wolves and bears and ravens, surged out and blocked the entrance. There was no space to turn the ship, meaning an emergency escape was off the board, so John had grabbed his weapons and jumped outside.
Less than a minute into the fight and it almost felt like fighting the Flood again. The smaller birds went down with a spray from his assault rifle, their bodies flopping to the ground and vanishing into black puffs of smoke. Before either Chief or Cortana could ponder this they had to fight the larger foes.
Wolves with stark white skull masks charged. Smaller calibers did little more than slow them down and even with heavier bullets he needed a headshot to kill them. And in this broken building he didn't dare use explosives.
"No wonder I barely picked up any settlements if this is the local wildlife."
"We'll manage." Chief repeated.
Though the gap between saying and doing was quickly growing wider. The wolves were easy enough to deal with, any that tried to bite him got a shotgun shell or assault rifle burst to the head while those that kept their distance got a pistol shot in the face. He would have liked if their bodies stuck around so he could use them to cover his flanks, but at least it left him room to maneuver.
The big problem was, fittingly enough, the larger bear creatures slowly drawing nearer. Nothing short of a sniper round through the eye even budged them. Maybe his shotgun would damage them point blank, but Chief didn't like the idea of getting close to a beast whose arms were wider than his shoulders.
Even worse, after bringing two down with aforementioned sniper fire, the remaining three were approaching with their faces covered by said arms.
And to top it off, Chief was running short on the ammo he'd snatched from the Pelican. A part of him wondered if these beasts were more vulnerable to his titanium combat knife, but he tapped that thought down. Getting in a melee with this many foes, even with his superior speed, was a good way to get pinned down and swarmed.
Might be time to consider the worst case scenario. "Start scanning for structural weaknesses." Chief barked. "We might need to blow a hole through a wall."
"Escape?" Cortana asked. "These things would tear the Pelican apart." Even as she said that she highlighted thinner parts of the wall for him.
"They'll tear me apart if we don't leave." As Chief did quick estimates to see what spot would be safest to grenade, he heard gunshots.
From guns other than his own.
"Confirmed new contacts!" Cortana barked. "They're engaging the hostiles and some of them are moving fast!" As her Spartan readjusted his tactics, the AI double checked her readings.
And not for the first time today, or even second, she was baffled by what she saw. "This can't be right." In less time than it takes to talk about it Cortana rebooted Chief's motion tracker. Results unchanged. "How? Even Spartans don't move like that."
"Didn't copy that."
Cortana set that aside. "Five- no, six? Hostile forces are rapidly dwindling. No IFF tags detected."
"Hmm."
The dwindling number of monsters, along with their attention being split between him and the outside attackers, allowed the Master Chief a much needed breather.
One he knew might not last.
Whoever this new group was, they were well armed and coordinated. If they decided he was a threat he might need that escape route after all. He had no idea if this group was hostile to the UNSC, let alone to offworlders in general. He still needed to be ready for anything.
"Yee haw!"
He was not ready for a blonde teenager to be riding one of the bears like a rodeo bull.
The rest of the group was just as unusual. The black haired girl performing acrobatics in heels was somehow the least bizarre. At least compared to the white haired debutante with a rapier. How was that girl with the scythe moving so fast? And where were the fireballs coming from?
…was that a corgi nipping at wolf heels?
They all knew how to fight though. The blonde had already taken out the bear she had ridden and was bobbing and weaving with a second one. "Nora was right, that WAS fun."
One of the wolves leapt at her, claws outstretched.
It twitched and dropped to the ground, a jet black blade sticking out of its spine. The acrobat girl grabbed the sword, jumping over the vanishing wolf to slash at another one. "If giving your team a heart attack is fun? Sure."
"You're just jealous of my riding technique!"
"Keep telling yourself that." The white haired girl deflected an attacking wolf with her rapier before flicking her free hand. A black symbol appeared in the air and the skull faced beast was sent flying into another wolf.
The girl in red zipped by, slicing the arm off a bear as she landed near Chief. "Whoa! That armor is so cool! Is that like an Atlas thing?" She ducked under the bear as it lashed out with its remaining arm. "Did the general send you?" Before Chief could think to respond, her scythe shifted into a stocky shape and the girl pulled a trigger.
Apparently it was also a gun because a round flew into the bear's face, disintegrating its head.
"Team RWBY, clear the area." A frazzled man in glasses ordered. "Quickly, if you will. The faster we finish this the less undue attention we receive." He wielded a flaming club that blasted fireballs.
"Cortana, please... explain?" Chief asked between finishing off monsters.
"This is completely uncharted territory for me too, Chief." Cortana's voice was more confused than it had ever been. "Just... try to play nice with the locals? They're carrying information devices that I can access, so just avoid a fight until I get more intel?"
Chief grunt as he finished off the last wolf monster with his knife.
"Well, avoid a NEW fight."
He didn't have a response for that, so instead he holstered his weapons and turned to greet his... saviors? Guests?
The locals.
The four girls couldn't have been more than eighteen, but they had fought with the ferocity of full grown Spartans. And now they were staring at him like, well, teenage girls having found a super soldier. It was all so jarring.
Was this what civies felt like when a Spartan saved them?
"Thank you for the support." He finally said.
To be continued...
Piper Faraday from Steamworld Heist?
The robot girl of the day is Piper Faraday from SteamWorld Heist!
I have learned what the little eyeball at the top left of my screen does.
Neat.
