I really struggle with finding the balance of expressing my needs or boundaries with the idea of being entitled because at what point does it become about superiority in feelings like i don't know if its just a me thing but i fear that sometimes i cross the line and I hate it

saying to myself "not as bad as other people" discounts what I've done and is an excuse for poor behavior, I see myself acting like my dad sometimes and see myself defend what is essentially his thought process which I have told myself that I hate because of the hypocrisy of it
