Actually, what’s missing from this headline is the context, which is that she left him for another woman, and THEN he became super-homophobic.

So it’s not so much his homophobia biting him in the ass as him being an enormous fucking child about his divorce.

It doesn’t show context of her leaving and then leader of anti-gay group? Unless it does, then please explain in detail because I can’t pick up on it. (From what I’m picking up, it’s saying how a leader was left reeling when his wife left him for another woman, so he was surprised. I think it would say that because his wife left him, he decided to run the anti-gay group and if that’s the case, it probably wouldn’t have made such a big headline?? I could be stupid and wrong but.)

Yeah, the article went around last week or so and the headline didn’t really match up with the contents of the article. The headline implies he was already leading the anti-gay group when she left him, but she left him a few months before that and his stance on homosexuality changed wildly as a response. Which … I don’t know, either way I think it’s news, but if she left him afterward, he’s basically the butt of the joke, whereas she left him beforehand and THEN he became an anti-gay leader, which just makes him an asshole. And also makes the headline sort of wrong.
