Just finished rewatching Monster (2004), i first watched it when i was 16, alot of time has passed and i can definitely see a difference with how i perceive the story. Though i wont leave a long review here, I just wanted to release alooott of heavy emotions here because I realized just how tense i felt watching the whole thing.

Not to mention the fact that i’m currently having a panic attack… it feels like something within the story triggered me in a way i’ve never felt during the first time i watched it. Maybe it’s just bc i understand the themes much better than i did before and it really is a psychological thriller lol
