I noticed your Free Company has ties to the Gold and Glory FC and their event listings. In that case, you may want to take the time to read this: https://twitter.com/CagiCajagi/status/1373119809471324163 It contains a few allegations to the FCs leaderships practice of trying to police other FCs, such as threatening to ban entire FCs from participating in their events if they do not remove members -they- find problematic, and shady practices like banning people for questioning their authority.

Good evening everyone, Aedwen/Lepus here. FC lead of Gold and Glory.  Please allow me to make one thing clear. Every ban decision from gold and glory, is done by me, and me alone. No one else has authority to ban. Aegir. Is. Not. An. Officer. He is an event coordinator. That means, he coordinates events, and if he needs an officer he goes to me.  Now. Second. I believe in respecting an individuals privacy. Anyone who has been in a discord where I banned someone, knows I do not go around throwing the details to the wind to get others rallied against them. If I remove someone, I move on. I recognize, people may have their distastes in being kicked, or removed from a group. It can cause them to be upset. This is a valid feeling to have. 

However, there is a limit involved. So I apologize, that today, we are not posting an event info or piece of art. Today, I will be going over some allegations that individuals whom were removed are trying to use against us, and having to provide names and context.

This. Is factually incorrect. The individual in question, is Ashe, leader of the Roses’ FC. Ashe was not banned for not banning Ciri. Ashe was removed from G&G events due to two reasons.  1. Accusations of pedophilic reddit moderation. 2. Her FC failing to abide by the rules set forth when I ruled on the above. For context. 

This was the ruling I gave, following those accusations against Ashe which could not be -proven- sufficiently for my liking, or dismissed either. Their FCs participation in any G&G event, was contingent upon the other co-hosts comfort. 

We did not need to wait long for this to become an issue. Not long after, I was informed of the repeated actions of one cirina malqir. From the simple observation of the logs, and the talk with ashe, it was determined Cerina was above all else, not healthy to be present in blitzball and she was removed for the safety of other blitzball members. 

At this same time, Ashe’s FC was told they could attend an event, but not bring Ashe with. To this, they declared and argued they would bring them anyways. For this reason, I decided G&G would not be doing any events with roses. For that reason, I removed Ashe temporarily to not provide the appearance of us coordinating, and because their accusations were still, again. Not proven without a doubt, or disproven without a doubt. 

Ashe was not removed for not kicking Ciri. At the time, Ciri was not in Ashe’s FC. This narrative, is false. 

After this, I had assumed, Ashe would wait until after the next season before speaking to me. I was wrong. Amidst busy lives, messages were not responded to where Ashe asked for entrance. When told they would not be allowed in for the season, they chose to sneak in.

You knew this Cagi. You yourself, said there was proper reason given for their removal. 

Yes Cagi. You knew someone whom had been banned, and was evading our ban, was in blitzball. You knew what character they were, and you said nothing. As a referee, someone who helped make blitzball happen, you kept quiet. 

You knowingly went behind our back and betrayed our trust. That is more than enough reason to remove you. 

Again. This is false. No one has ever been banned just because their ‘teams didn’t like them’. 

Don Coconero is based off Don Corneo from ff7. We thought the name was not too subtle for it to be missed. Secondly. You are discussing monetarist RP in Ul’dah. No one, is at any time, forced into any RP by G&G. If someone does not like RPing goofy monetarists who fall on their face and take bribes, you are not being forced to do so. 

When I remove someone and ban them, I am not required to respond to their every whim Cagi. I work third shift. I work ten hour nights. If I miss and forget something, it happens. But no one is -owed- my time. I make it available out of a belief it is important to communicate. But if you have shown to me, a duplicitous nature, petty dealings, and assholery, I am not required to waste my time. 

G&G is not the community. We do not go around demanding people remove others from their events. You were banned from our events. Please stop making it out like we’re trying to witch hunt you. 

We chose to grow from that incident, to become pro-active. We terminated that individuals membership when it was clear who they really were. I assumed responsibility for the FC, and have been leading it since. Ashe was removed over concerns, and their behavior. Cirina was removed for her behavior. You were removed for your behavior. 

You chose to try to take part in cancel culture, without logs, only words, because you knew the logs are not on your side. You know, your behavior was inappropriate. You willingly knew, you misrepresented events in your post. You waited until blitzball started, to try and cause the most issue within our community. 

Please move on with your time in ff14, and find joy in a different group or community. But you are not welcome at anything gold and glory hosts.

Hey look, more stuff.

I wake up this morning to @for-gold-and-glory pretty much proving the aforementioned points by myself and Cagi yesterday. There’s big talk about doing what’s right by the community and keeping people safe and this or that, but it all boils down to instead keeping people othered and being given a target to bandwagon and look down on, accuracy and evidence be damned.

Aedwen brings up past accusations as a “true” reason for removing me from collaborations and events, but nothing else to provide an accurate image. She could have mentioned how any issues with Reddit came up long after I closed my account. She could have mentioned how despite accusations on Reddit existing in the first place, a long-gone purge of the site provided no actual evidence beyond hearsay. She could have mentioned how she spoke to someone completely removed from the Roses at the time who explained the situation as well and vouched for my own discussion with her. She could have mentioned how Roses and Gold & Glory worked together for the past year or so with no issues and positive interaction. But she didn’t. Because like everyone else involved in this situation, it’s much easier to just paint someone with a certain brush and slander them across the internet.

Aedwen and Gold & Glory are well aware that, though I took part moderating a hentai subreddit aimed at petite women (surprise from the brothel FC owner, I know), I divested myself of the community when it began taking part in questionably legal, potentially-lolicon content and a lack of proper moderation from others. Despite knowing this two years ago, and knowing it now, G&G is clearly content with perpetuating hearsay on its own rather than providing the community with the full picture.

Despite all of this, and despite the consistent “safe for the community” messaging, Gold & Glory is content to perpetuate all of the above while simultaneously also harboring at least one individual in their Blitzball event with a nearly two-decade long history of stalking and harassment, including attacking two previous FC leaders. One of which to the point she encouraged involving law enforcement after speaking with the individual personally. So no, Gold & Glory has no interest in what’s best for the community, and plenty of interest in making sure whoever’s “in” is in, and whoever’s out is, well…

I specifically called them allegations, and pointed out they could not be proven to a level I found satisfactory. 

I told you then, and I have to -keep- telling you. You were banned because we wanted nothing to do with roses following the tantrum some of your members threw in regards to a situation **YOU** AGREED ON. 

You throw claims against others, so deep and grave, but you do not give -proof-. Then, the second others present evidence that casts doubt on you, you hide behind it not being enough, claim either A: The posts you made were lies, or B: Someone hacked your account. 

You were banned on an official reason. But based on how you behaved after that, you were banned for the way you act. 

So when I say this, I want you to understand, there is not a PR face to this. Not a ‘punch a bad guy’ moment to be had.

We have literally never brought you up to other leaders. We never went after cagi. We didn’t do shit to demand others ban you. We. Do. Not. Care. About. You. Enough. To. Waste. Our. Time. 

I have had to deal with your bullshit, your verbal abuse, your trying to sneak in around bans, and going to people G&G associates with for over a year. So I want you to understand this as completely as possible.

Fuck. Off. I have given you every benefit of the doubt, every courtesy I did not need to afford, and at this point I’m done. You lurk around our blitzball events, desperate for a response for you to clip and send to your friends about how you’re a victim of us ENFORCING A BAN. 

I pray to god, that one day you get the sense to realize how unimaginably insane this is, and move on with your life. I do. I can only imagine how much happier you may be. But until such a time.  It disgusts me how you can so boldly just lie about what someone said right above you. So...

The Brotherhood of the Crimson Star, an apocalypse cult with a decentralised cell structure. Approximately half of the Brotherhood’s cells are working to accelerate the prophesied apocalypse, while the other half are working to prevent it. Owing to tight information control and erratic communication between cells, most members are completely in the dark about the schism, believing that all of their peers share their goals and and merely disagree in their methods.  

The Golden Owlbear Society, a philosophical collective of like-minded wizards and warriors dedicated to the improvement of mortal civilisation. In practice, they’re a social club for retired high-level adventurers who like to get high on pipeweed and debate political theory, and they almost never accomplish anything of note, but they’re treated as an existential threat by many nations owing to the absurdly high concentration of power they in theory represent.  

The Thousand Scales, a sorcerous cabal united by the fact that they’re all the illegitimate offspring of a single incredibly randy dragon. The half-human members serve as the organisation’s public face, while the greater part of its roster keep out of the public eye owing to their… eclectic parentage. The cabal’s leader appears to be half dragon, half horse, but guests should under no circumstances remark on this – it’s something of a touchy subject!  

The Vitalist League, ostensibly a band of freedom fighters against the reign of a terrible lich-king. In truth, nearly all of the League’s members are disguised undead infiltrators of various sorts. Most of the infiltrators are aware of this fact, but their superiors generally are not; due to the lich-king’s habit of regularly purging the upper ranks of his secret police, the infiltration’s operational history has been lost, and it’s unclear whether the “original” human-led League ever existed in the first place.  

The Honourable Company of Shoemakers, a trade guild that wields immense political power due to its deep connections and numerous highly trained operatives. Their secret is that they really are just a bunch of shoemakers, and have no ambitions or concerns beyond protecting the exclusivity of their contracts and ensuring that their members are allowed to ply their trades unimpeded by state interference. The trouble is, they’ll go to literally any lengths to achieve those goals!

True harvestmen, and not cellar spiders which are the other Daddy Long Legs, are truly omnivorous- known to eat everything from spiders, to fecal matter, to leaves and fungus… But one of the singularly most interesting habits of a particular European species is their almost symbiotic relationship with beehives– particularly man-made beehives. When a bee dies inside the hives, workers will remove the the corpse to just outside the hive just before dark. And the harvestmen? Well, they live up to their name.
