You can safely ignore this post.
These are chapter summaries for Table for Disaster, mostly so I can find things without having to dig through the entire fic every time.
But if you’re coming back after a break and don’t feel like rereading the whole thing, feel free to use them as a quick refresher. :)
Chapter 1: Hayden’s parents set him up on a blind date. His solution was sending Shane instead.
Chapter 2: Shane went on Hayden’s blind date to ruin it, only to find out it was Ilya Rozanov, hockey star and son of the founder of Rozanov Sports.
Chapter 3: Shane successfully sabotaged Hayden’s blind date using emotionally aggressive milk logic and a very bold invitation to go back to his place.
Chapter 4: Shane assumed the blind date was over when Ilya left early. In reality, Ilya seems to have decided “Hayden” is marriage material.
Chapter 5: Hayden talked Shane into attending a second meeting with Ilya to tell him he wasn’t interested in marriage.
Chapter 6: After complications involving hiding under a table to avoid Rose, Shane finally managed to reject Ilya’s marriage proposal for good.
Chapter 7: Shane accidentally ignored his grandma’s calls, who had bought them tickets to a Rihanna concert. Meanwhile, Hayden started planning a fake relationship with Scott Hunter.
Chapter 8: Shane survived a Rozanov Sports meeting using a helmet and a terrible Batman voice. After the meeting, Ilya accused Hayden of identity theft and Shane abandoned him to deal with it alone.
Chapter 9: Hayden tricked Shane into meeting Ilya, where he ended up being blackmailed into becoming Ilya’s fake boyfriend.
Chapter 10: Shane forgave Hayden, received the fake dating contract from Ilya, and agreed to dating practice with him. Meanwhile, Hayden is fake-dating Scott Hunter because apparently fake dating is the solution to everything.
