Things that should have gotten me diagnosed with Something before 18yo :

- would spend hours reading lovecraft ttrpg bestiaries any time they were accessible to me as a 7 to 12 yo (and then after that)

- memorized so much dinosaur information i actively replaced the organisator at a children type event in a dino museum

- Taught my peers how to fake emotions because i genuinely thought everyone was doing them on purpose

- Memorized the list of necrotic diseases on wikipedia and would explain them to mildly worried 19 year olds who were getting paid to look after us during recess

A phone lock screen for myself... I like this depiction, I managed to handle the neon colors in a way that doesn't quite look completely unnatural.

i almost did not post this. It was meant to be a part of a zine, and then i simply left the community it was meant to be a part of.

Originally, it had a more literal self portrait, based upon a photography of myself. I could not finish it, because it felt too dysphoric. I did notice, though, that every single time i have attempted to draw my human body it has ended up being portrayed coiled upon itself, grasping at itself. This is harder to represent with the actual cockatrice.

I do not like this self portrait. But i suppose in a way that is kind of the point. This is about nonhumanity but this is not solely about nonhumanity.

My blorbo. She has every disease in the world and cannot show vulnerability to save her life. Her skills are dissociating, maladaptive daydreaming and avolition. She still absolutely pulls thanks to her emo swag and "you can't fix me" demeanor.

She's a character I created to discuss w/ myself on a few aspects of my own disorders. She's a slightly worse version of me in some ways? A lot more influenced by what people want her to be. Her whole deal is tied to her family's habit with not acknowledging problems, which led her to not being capable / having the tools to deal with her own outside of avoidance. Massive fucking guilt complex YET kind of a cunt to deal with. Love a complicated woman who hurts others due to having the emotional bandwidth of a piece of granite.

Identity

also drew sigilyph bc i was arguing it's a bird and i can use it for my collection (i'm doing bird only). To me, it's meant to be a stylized bird splayed, and here's what i interpret it as, "put back together".
