Chaos Odyssey Polycule Thoughts:

Bethael letting Yvgeny brush and braid his hair. Yvgeny is VERY careful of where the nails protrude out from Beth's skull. Yvgeny is very good at braiding hair, hes been doing it for himself for years.

Byzanti misses when he had hair of his own to style and pull. He's wanted to play with Bethaels hair before but the hound never let him near like that, much less touch his hair. He kind of hopes Yvgeny might let him, if the secrets ever let him ask...

His chance comes when Yvgeny is injured and Drask is about to cut his hair so he can operate on the wound. Byzanti abruptly intervenes just in time and styles the little human's hair in a way that lets Drask work.

Yvgeny doesnt know who styled his hair while he was unconscious, but he's suspicious when Byzanti later compliments it with that mischievous tone he has when he's keeping his secrets.

About halfway through Descent of the Angels and it's a fine read but mostly it's put the idea of Astartes cavalry in my head and if that's not the coolest fucking thing ever idk what you need. Give me warhorses the size of a small elephant shaking the ground as they charge into battle with Space Marines shooting away on their backs
