I hear it every year but I want to make it clear that the reason why Palestinians are being attacked at Al-Aqsa mosque is because they’re Palestinian. It’s islamophobia, yes, but it’s islamophobia rooted in hatred of Palestinians. I see too often non-Palestinian Muslims using language that removes ‘Palestinians’ from their posts (the same violence also happens to Palestinian Christians btw) and it is okay to be sickened by the images of Palestinian Muslims being brutalized during worship but we cannot forget the root of this is colonial violence against an indigenous population - Free Palestine is not a Muslim cause, it’s an anti colonial movement for all Palestinians, Muslim or not.

Honestly, queer dating is the worst.

I met up with this guy when I was in his city for the weekend. We met up for tea before going to dinner at the restaurant he had made a reservation at. He paid for dinner, then we walked around and sat outside in a square until midnight, texted each other when we made it home, and then when I got back to my city a few days later etc

AND I’M STILL SITTING HERE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT IF THAT WAS A DATE OR NOT

My friends are all like « ummm duh?!? » by my little gay brain is like « but maybe he does that with platonic friends » 😂😂😭
