this album feels like the end of summer. dusty, swelling air. atmosphere stifling with anxiety. like the weight on your chest concluding the month of august. first gust of thick, hot ouverture to incoming thunderstorm. the moment of anticipation before inevitable crisis. the prison of memories. not enough time to rest. too much time to get any work done. you’re not ready for autumn to come.
