It's so annoying, as one of the few "originals" still standing, if you count BFRJ as still an original after they're on their 8th cycle of mods, idk, to see people just... Rewrite the entire Homestuck canon and turn Grumblr into an Amino rp space. It's legitimately sad.
No, magic fuchsia ruler from a world where castism doesn't exist and all humans are friends and there's no culling, I actually don't think that's very Homestuck anymore, and I'm not interested in playing with you. Oh, now you're vagueposting about me on your ooc blog, now I'm getting actual anon hate telling me to quit the space from blogs a year or even two greener than mine. Awesome. Awesome.
This place is unbearable at this point, it's pure nostalgia and an attempt to hold the front that keeps me from deleting ACC. I don't think any of the other old guard are still around - none of their blogs are active, at least. It's a lonely feeling, watching all of your friends get chased out of a space you were 'early' to.
Back when the biggest drama was whatever TIFU or QHS or BFRJ posted from an unhinged anon, it was actually pretty fun here, and now it's very much... Not fun here. Unhinged anons are aimed at the real people behind the blog, and it's a bit depressing.
And also telling that the sphere has changed so much that people who built it, like the original BFRJ mun, aren't even welcome anymore. When BFRJ was the only blog I know who hit 1k followers.
A thousand followers! As a Homestuck roleplay blog! That was so big and so awesome. You had people who weren't playing but loved the Homestuck canon just watching you to read more about the world they love. It's pretty telling that all those people are gone now, too. I could say it's a fandom wide issue, that people in the Homestuck fandom don't actually like Homestuck, but everyone knows that.
I guess it's just depressing trying to make this work now. I know it's not the fun place it was when we all fit in a Discord server and were actually friends. You can tell now that nobody here has any real chemistry above the table, and it sucks.
