I don’t think I’ve actively used tumblr in over a year. I’ve been busy and other things have become more important. BUT. I just need to speak this into the void of existence via the internet in the hopes that someone going through the same thing sees this and knows that it gets better. I have struggled with my mental health since I was 14. I’m now 25 and I have been clean from self-harm for almost 2 years now. Over the course of the past 10 years, I’ve seen 9 mental health professionals, I’ve tried 5 different medications, I’ve gone years without self-harm. Choosing to live and keep going every day has been the most difficult thing I’ve had to do in my life. It ain’t easy, that’s for sure! And I can tell you that I’ve worked my ass off these past few years to get my life back on track. That being said, if you’re reading this, I want you to know that you will get through this. You will come out the other end stronger and happier. You may have some scars, or lose some people along the way, but the few who do stand by you are worth holding on to. I want you to know that if nobody has told you lately, you are somebody. You were somebody before this, and you’ll be a better somebody when you come out of it. I love you.

I am so sorry, but this is actually probably true. Plants co evolved to reward us for cultivating and propagating them. and since everything in this hellscape has to be gendered including colors, they gotta use both pink and blue frosting when they decorate to keep the prospective parents guessing before they cut the cake open and reveal how they’re gonna color-code their babies, but that also means:
people are out here making blue and white and pink baby cakes and just, unintentionally throwing the trans flag all over their pointless “gender” celebration and i think that’s just superb
