A Suggested Six Change
Yâknow how the longer a musical runs the more little changes they make here and there?
Something that I think should be changed in Six, that would build on how some actors have interpreted the role of Howard (i.e. crying/full sobbing at the end of All You Wanna Do) is:
Howard should have a sobbing melt down at the end of her song and be walked off stage while comforted by Seymour, instead of just wiping her eyes and starting an acceptance speech. It would add a real âoh shit, that was pretty fucked up for realâ moment right before Parr comes in to say that the competition is stupid.
The meat of the âfunnyâ dialogue interlude between All You Wanna Do and the fake Parr song starting is Boleyn and Aragon arguing about miscarriages anyway (which I fell like might eventually get changed too), so just give Cleves something to say as well, while Seymour and Howard are off stage.
