Guysss, I girlbossed a bit too close to the sun and met my favourite writer (also a queer woman) a few years ago online. We went for a coffee after her latest book promo in my city recently and I developed an intense crush on her. She lives in the neighboring country (where my family is originally from) and said I can come over to/stay at her place If I go to the said country.

I probably stand no chance but also am high-key delulu. Would it be insane to go to another coutry in 6 months (my daughter will be 1 y/o by then) and ask to visit her?

BESIDES PATRISHA HIGHSMITH ("The Price of Salt" author) ALSO KINDA ENDED UP WITH ONE OF HER GF'S IN A SIMILAR WAY (they were both writers too)!!!!

I had such an amaizing day! 🫶

I met my best friend's gf and she is like sooo amaizing. On top of having a really great sense of humor, being intelligent, well-spoken and breathtakingly beautiful - she also already has one bachelor's degree and is currently getting another ☝️

In addition to all of this she'a skilled in sewing 🪡✨️

We went for a walk and a coffe and came across this exibition and it was like soooooo 🌈colourful🌈 and I just had to go see it (THE ENTRANCE WAS FREE 😭🙏). As expected of me - one could catch me just jumpin around like a really exited puppy.

During my roaming around - she made these pictures and I LOVE them like A LOT.

Then my day got even better!!!!!!!

On my way home I happen to see an offer too good to be true - 5 books for 9 euros.

Currently diving into this one "Tha Fatal Lela" - focused on the life of the first starlet of (ex) Yugoslavia (kingdom period, not to be mistaken with the SFRJ or the socialistic Yugoslavia). The style of writing is rather interesting - a combination of historical documents, court proceedings, the old newspapper publications, some political anegdotes and, too my very delight, historical gossip (🤭) all beautifuly wrapped in an unique, novel-styled narration.

On top of all of this I still managed to do my brother's homework (reimagined brawl stars logo for his graphic design class)

Gotta go sleep now. A lot day is ahead of me✨️🌚

I made this tiny bag thingy for my friend. It is intended for tiny things such as a spare change, buttons, little rocks etc. Generally things you want to bring w yourself but if you put in a pocket or a big bag will be scattered around. 🥳

I plan on making myself one so can carry my small black hairclips. If they fall out in public I forget to take them ouu of my bag/pockets and they get lost or make a hazard during laundary washing (I had to call service to unf0vk my washing mashine due to them ending up in the filter 😑 ccc)

Tried the archery for the first time

Been to the local Medieval-themed fair ⚔️🖤🩶

Bought some gifts for my friend's and my mother's b-day 🛍 (I have very strained relationship with my mother but I still wanted to buy her something out of respect)

Tried archery and loved it 🏹🔥

Met a lot of new friends and foreigners (drew the girl I got along with the best)✨️

My daughter had so much fun too and laughed/smiled as everything was so new to her 😇

Overall 11/10 expirience

Cannot get over the fact that I somehow made these braids, just so my hair isn't in the way, right before I went to sleep and never succeded in doing it again.

Btw - this is my natural lengt and texture (still learning to take care of my wavy pattern)

One thing nobody prepares for or warns you about on your motherhood journey is just how many people stop calling you by your first name and only reffer to you as "a *name*'s mom" or simply "a mom" from the very moment your child is born.

Oh, and also the outrage of many if you dare to ask to be refered to by your own name or comment on this.
