A young trans student spoke with Insider about preparing to move to Portland after Utah Gov. Spencer Cox signed a new anti-trans law.
With the direction things are going in this country in regards to trans rights and healthcare access, I am so sad for trans kids especially. Trans kids in particular are having their healthcare and identities attacked by conservatives, and the results are going to be devastating.
Listen to trans kids. Protect trans kids.

Gender!
Censari: a gender that is in the gender neutral spectrum that has a strong connection to both masculinity and femininity.
Demibigender: A form of demigender where part of it is bigender. The other part(s) may or may not be known.

Polarsexual: Switching between being either extremely attracted or not at all and/or repulsed.
Cassromantic: Feeling utterly indifferent to your orientation, as though it does not matter or is not a significant part of your identity.

A small PSA to all those new to dealing with the porn bots that Tumblr now has a fresh wave of – I understand that when you go to report them, you want to report them as "[containing] sexually explicit material", but don't do that. Report them as spam instead.
These are spam bots flooding tags and the website in general with spam links. They often do not have anything sexually explicit on their blog (although they often have implicit material). Plus, these two reports get very different results. Reporting explicit material gets the bot slapped behind an 18+ wall, so minors can't check if they're a bot or not. Reporting spam gets the bot taken down.
Remember, folks: when dealing with a bot, report spam, not smut!

you are not less than just because you can do less. im proud of you for still being here, and i wish you ease with adjusting to new ways of life. please take care of yourself, i love you.
gentle addition for the folks who are losing their mental capacity in any way, shape, or form. If you can’t think as clearly as you used to, if you don’t have the executive functioning you once had, if your memory is getting worse, if your sensory processing issues are increasing, if your episodes are becoming more frequent. Your life has inherent value and I hope I can help remind you of that.
I guarantee we're going to see some of these bans on trans healthcare for adults become law this year.
We need to be taking lessons from the fight for abortion access right now. We need organizations that can assist with funding procedures and with organizing travel across state lines for care.
And we absolutely need methods of accessing HRT from outside of states where it's banned. I've been wondering if eventually something similar to the process for mail forwarding abortion pills might be possible for those of us on HRT.
I already do telehealth appointments for my HRT, and I get to do my routine labwork at any LabCorp location; then my prescription is mailed to me from an out of state pharmacy.
So...if I made a telehealth appointment in a state where gender affirming care is legal, and I had a post office box in that state to use as a legal address, and then I had the mail from the PO box forwarded to my home address...could that be a possible work around if gender affirming care is banned in my state?
Especially given that the department of justice decided this week that the postal service can continue to deliver abortion pills to people in states where abortion is banned...presumably a similar approach would be taken to prescriptions for gender affirming care?
This is just me thinking theoretically, of course.
