My goal from the start of this blog was to help people with OCD feel less alone. Social media and mental health activism have really changed since 2016 (meaning since I began this blog)... and it's gotten to the point where it's rather performative and detached from building relationships and a community. So, a Discord community feels like the best next step.
So, to my followers, my family: If you are 18 years old or older, I have a discord server that I've created for those of us with OCD who want to socialize and chill WITHOUT making the topic of OCD the focus. I'm trying to get the following activities up and running:
Crafting circle
Writers circle
Movie nights
Book club
Co-op gaming sessions
Body-doubling for studying/working
ALSO: if you're interested in helping to run this discord, please send me a DM on the app (where I'm most active now): ElsaTheCow#1383
Questions? Comments? Concerns? Let me know. Here's the link: https://discord.gg/64Wjfakm2y
Remember: Life is tough, AND you are tougher.
