"If your morals don’t elevate you, your status won’t either.
If your actions don’t beautify you, your clothes won’t either."
Ibn Hajar رحمه الله said,
"What appears to be the reason of the excellence of the ten days of Dhul Hijjah is that the main acts of worship are gathered during these days, which are; Prayer, Fasting, Charity, and Pilgrimage, and this cannot be found in other than this month.”
[Fathul Bari 2/593]
You glow differently when you’re in peace with yourself and everyone around you
Ya Allah, this Dhul Hijjah, make worship feel light upon my heart. Let my soul find peace in prayer, sweetness in dhikr, and closeness to You in every act of ibadah. Do not let laziness, distraction, or weakness keep me away from You. آمين
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.”Even small acts matter more in these days, a quiet dua, helping someone, praying on time, giving charity, making dhikr, all of it counts heavily.
Du’ā (Supplication):
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:
“And of the diseases that afflict du’ā and prevent its response is that a person is hasty in expecting a response, and the response is delayed, so he gives up hope, and leaves du’ā.
His example is like that of a person who planted a seed, or a seedling, then guarded it, and took care of it, and watered it, but when it delayed in (giving its fruit) and reaching perfection, he left it and did not take care of it anymore.”
[Al-Jawaab al-Kaafi | P. 10]
You're exactly where Allah wants you to be, this phase you're going through in your life is also part of Allah's plans, so keep trusting Him and don't lose hope.
“…she is the gentlest of all gentle things.”
