“I think the reason we sometimes have the false sense that God is so far away is because that is where we have put him. We have kept him at a distance, and then when we are in need and call on him in prayer, we wonder where he is. He is exactly where we left him.”
— Ravi Zacharias
“I asked for wisdom and He said, “Fear Me.” I asked for direction and He said, “Know Me.” I asked for joy and He said, “Look at Me.” I asked for contentment and He said, “Find your all in Me.”

I want to make a note to my fellow Christians:
Christianity cannot mix with other religions. Not all religions lead to God. Christianity is exclusive, and if it’s true, then the other religions are false. If the other religions are true, then it is false. These are the only two options and there is no middle ground.
Reading your Bible isn’t only important for your spiritual life but for your defense. There are many sites out there that can trip you up with their mixing of religion and if you don’t know your stuff, it can be very convincing.
Remember: Christianity cannot coexist with other religious beliefs.

“Only when we understand that God has ordained our suffering can we begin to make sense of it. Only then can we be certain that He has a purpose in it. When tragedy comes, when adversity strikes, we will not be shaken. Yes, we will cry. Yes, we will grieve. But we will move on confidently knowing that God is on His throne, that we are in His hand, that our circumstances are His doing, and He is working them for our good.”
— Terry L. Johnson
