It’s important to keep in mind that posts like “trans boys are not cute flower crown babies” are aimed at cis people who stereotype you. 

They are not aimed at you. They do not translate to “If you’re trans and cute, you’re problematic”. 

There’s nothing wrong with being cute. There’s nothing wrong with being innocent. There’s nothing wrong with you if you like it when your partner or friends call you baby, or even if you use it to describe yourself (for example tagging your selfie with “I’m a cute baby” - If that makes you feel good, go for it). 

You’re not any less of a boy if you like to be cute.

I’m so glad I’m seeing more and more Lundy Bancroft quotes on my dash because this book CHANGES THE LIVES OF ABUSE VICTIMS. The programs run for rehabilitating abusive men through the courts? Bancroft DESIGNED THEM. His programs are replicated ALL OVER THE WORLD. He literally wrote THE book on abuser rehabilitation.

okay, so sometimes being closeted makes for funny stories (for me at least). so my cousin, (’m not out to him yet) asked me to find a horror movie that would make our chill ‘lil family group of 5 piss. why? because we like to s u f f e r. now. i get distracted easily, plus i had absolutely no interest in lookin up horror movies when i could be drownin myself in vld shitposts. my cousin called me out on it three times. the last time he snatched my phone and screamed “STOP TEXTING BOYS” and without really thinking about it i said “bitch. ain’t no boys” my two sisters and my other cousin fuckin laugh outright, like, to the point where they’re crying and once i realize im laughing and crying too and he’s just so confused. after that giggle fest fuckin dies down he kinda corrected himself by sayin “or girls. it’s 2017” idk yo. it was just really funny and lighthearted and just such a good interaction with my family.

I wore a dress out in public for the first time today since I was in highschool. Allowing myself to stray from the gendered clothing that society expects of me is both liberating and terrifying. I constantly have to check myself and unravel my internalized sexism and transmisogyny and confront my fears about how I will be perceived. But I felt good, and I think I looked good too. I only wore the dress on for half the day, but I think that’s huge. And I’m proud of myself. (And thank you to Cole for always letting me wear her clothes ❤️)
