Once this nightmare of an authoritarian regime ends, I would love to see all of us come together to sue this MF and all his family and cronies into oblivion for all the years of stress, anguish, and destruction they have inflicted on us. Never in my wildest bad dreams would I have ever imagined such a blight on humanity could attain such power in our government and cause such widespread chaos. I cannot watch and laugh at movies like Idiocracy any more. I could not stomach all seasons of The Handmaids Tale. I cannot reread books like 1984. I can’t even enjoy Back to the Future sequels because we are literally living in Biff Tannen’s alternate timeline. He’s made our country into a cesspool. It’s as if he has the Midas Touch, but instead everything turns to shit. Heaven help us if the midterms don’t turn out as they should. Hopefully that blood clot does its job before then though.
