Conversation Logs 001 - Rex

I wanted to keep writing, even if it's nothing too substantial, and to really flesh out some characters, their backstories, and motivations. The goal is to create these conversation logs and include them in the supplement to help with immersion and such!

I promise I haven’t forgot about Lancer or the supplement - I’ve been super busy with grad school and it’s just been on the back burner. However, have been thinking about quite a few new mechs, new NPCs, and I just need to finish writing the story and creating some npcs

MY FAVOURITE LANCER MECHS AND WHY

ISP-N Raleigh: I have a lot of time for anything related to cowboys and/or pirates and I feel like my dude rides the line really well. The loop of shooting turn --> scan/lock on/boost turn --> shooting turn is really satisfying while actually having really good net damage output.

SSC Dusk Wing: I am a piece of shit and I like to cause problems

SSC Swallowtail: I kinda love being a coordinator, somebody who doesn't make huge plays but whose presence is the glue that holds the team together, and the Swallowtail is pretty much the apex of that in Lancer. The Lancaster didn't make the list but I like it for similar reasons.

HORUS Goblin: I am a piece of shit and I like to cause problems

HORUS Gorgon: my #1 top fave, best girl, team mom, protector of all, was there ever a mech who worked so hard to make sure their crew got through this okay

HORUS Calendula: I am a piece of shit and I like to cause problems

HORUS Lich: I am a piece of shit and I like to cause problems

Harrison Armory Saladin: lacks the feral and femme that make the Gorgon pop so hard for me, but at the same time I have a huge place in my heart for Big Sal and really anybody who makes it their job to keep their friends safe
