MICAH BELL HC - PART 3
micah bell x fem reader | continuing from my last post
Micah would be an extremely difficult person to form any kind of emotional connection with. HE has to make the first move, HE has to be the one interested first. If, for some reason, you became interested in him first and tried to get closer to him, he’d push you away as if you meant nothing to him. Maybe he’d be open to a one-night stand, but the next morning he’d act like nothing ever happened. For anything to develop, HE has to be the one who becomes interested first, without expecting those feelings to be returned, he knows they probably won’t be, but he enjoys the challenge of proving that he can win someone over. In his mind, if he wants something badly enough, he’ll find a way to get it.
Arthur Morgan. He would hate seeing you around Arthur, he sees Morgan as a threat. As for Dutch, he knows Dutch is a natural manipulator. He knows you’re smart enough not to fall for Dutch’s charm, but he doesn’t care. “I need to talk to Dutch.” that would usually be met with a response like “You can settle that with me.” or “I’ll come with ya.” Sometimes he wouldn’t say anything at all, but he would watch from a distance and later ask what the two of you talked about. Dutch is the leader, Micah wants Dutch’s trust, and he wouldn’t risk being reckless when it comes to him. Arthur is different, Micah is always trying to outdo him. He wants Arthur’s position within the gang. He wants to be Dutch’s right-hand man, and he wants the same influence Arthur has, seing his partner spending time with the man he despises most would feel like a betrayal in his eyes. He would make crude remarks whenever you walked away from him, and if he saw you talking to Arthur, he wouldn’t hesitate to interrupt the conversation. Whether it was by inserting himself into it, making some sarcastic comment, or finding an excuse to pull your attention elsewhere, he would make sure Arthur didn’t get too comfortable around you.
From the moment it became understood that the two of you were a pair, Micah wouldn’t have eyes for anyone else, because of his possessive and controlling nature, his attention would be focused entirely on you. “That it became understood that the two of you were a pair?” Yes, Micah would never make any kind of official confession or grand gesture. He isn’t the type to pick flowers or formally ask for a relationship. He isn’t romantic, and he would see that sort of thing as foolish. At some point, it would simply become an unspoken understanding between the two of you. No conversation, no declaration, just a silent agreement that you were partners in crime. A couple? No, he wouldn’t like calling it that. Partners. That’s the word he would use.
If his partner’s personality were similar to his and she refused to let his teasing get under her skin, it would frustrate him. Deep down, Micah would want someone who would submit to his authority, he likes being the one in control of a situation. At the same time, though, that would spark something in him. He knows it isn’t easy to find someone who wants him, someone who can put up with him, and someone who thinks the same way he does when it comes to getting things done. He wouldn’t be willing to risk losing that. The fact that he couldn’t easily get a reaction out of her would annoy him, but it would also make him value her even more. In his eyes, people like that don’t come around often.
A relationship with Micah could lead to constant arguments, and most likely, arguments with him would end in sex. He would take out his stress and bad mood during those moments, and sex with him after an argument would always be the best and most intense.
Micah is a man who loves glorifying himself, so he would probably talk about you around the campfire with the other men. “She’s my kinda type of girl.” There would also be a chance that he would bring up things the two of you had done together in private. “She’s a nasty and dirty little thing, she knows exactly what she wants." That would be the kind of compliment he might give you. It wouldn’t be sweet or romantic, but those compliments would almost always be followed by “Just like me.” He would constantly compare you to himself when talking about you, perhaps as a way of subtly implying to the others that you “belonged” with him. The other men would probably laugh at some of Micah’s comments, which would annoy him. Eventually, he would get up from the campfire and end the conversation with “You fools just don’t understand women.” And that would be the end of the subject.
Micah wouldn’t be the romantic type, but he would show that he cared and remembered you through small details. If the two of you had to spend time away from camp out in the wilderness and, during the night, he noticed that you were cold, he would do things his own rough way. Without saying a single word, he would drape his leather jacket over your shoulders. If he went off on jobs by himself, when he came back he might hand you a bottle of whiskey that he considered good, he would leave cigarettes and ammunition in your tent without making a big deal out of it.
He would say he doesn’t care, but he would pay attention to everything you say. If he overheard you mentioning to someone that you needed something, there is a good chance that the next day he would show up at camp and hand you the very thing you wanted. When no one was looking, he might go check on your horse to make sure the saddle was properly fitted and that it was being fed well. If he noticed anything unusual about your horse, he would immediately demand that Kieran do something about it, in his usual rough and abrasive manner.
When Micah is drunk, he tends to become more open and playful around you, and maybe even a little affectionate. His guard would come down. Laughs and jokes would come easily, and although the two of you were partners, he would normally still be somewhat reluctant to let you touch him. But when he was drunk, he wouldn’t even complain or pull away. He would never say it out loud, but he loved it when you played with his beard or ran your thumb over the scar on his chin. While you did that, he would simply sit there, watching you and quietly enjoying the moment. During moments like these, he might become a little more affectionate as well, playing with your hair or making a few silly compliments about your appearance. Perhaps those were the rare occasions when you got to see him with his guard down, without that tough exterior he always carried around. But the next morning, once he woke up and the alcohol had worn off, he would pretend that nothing had happened the night before, he might even act rougher than usual to make up for it, it wouldn’t be his way of punishing you, but rather because he doesn’t allow people to see him like that, "vulnerable.”
"What are you hunting? An elephant?"

MICAH BELL HC - PART 2
micah bell x fem reader
Micah wouldn’t like a woman he considers easy to win over. He would like a woman who is difficult and who won’t easily fall for his flirting. He likes proving himself and showing that he can get what he wants. Micah would be attracted to a woman he considers similar to himself: a woman who is practical when it comes to taking action and who isn’t empathetic or compassionate. “Sympathy is for the weak.”
Micah wouldn’t approach someone with kind, careful, or pretty words. He would approach in a rough and anything but gentle way, almost obnoxious when it comes to flirting. He would try to see if he could get a reaction out of you. If you got irritated, he’d find it amusing, but if you didn’t react at all, he would become intrigued, and that would catch his attention in a way, because everyone gets annoyed by him except you. He would back off a little, but not completely. He’d keep an eye on you from a distance, and maybe after a few days he’d try talking to you again, calling you nicknames like “Doll” or “Princess.” And if you showed any sign of irritation or told him to stop, he would start calling you ONLY that.
Micah is a very observant man. If you did what he would consider “men’s work,” such as robbing stagecoaches, taking part in robberies, being involved in the gang’s main heist plans, and not being a “helpless” or “weak” woman in his eyes, that would definitely catch his attention. He would also pay close attention to you during jobs. If you showed mercy toward enemies, he would notice and disapprove of your compassion. But if you were ruthless and willing to do whatever was necessary to survive or accomplish the objective, he would notice that as well and begin to see you as a potential partner.
“I saw the way you killed that guy, doll.” or, “I saw you hesitate to kill that guy. Getting soft now?” Depending on how you acted, the tone of his teasing would be different. “You say you hate me, but when it comes down to it, you’re just like me, ruthless.” Micah would constantly compare you to himself, not necessarily to annoy you, but because he would genuinely see it as a compliment. In his mind, being ruthless, vengeful and violent like him would be something worth admiring. “It’s kill or be killed… so we kill.”
Even if he were interested in you, he would still flirt with the other women in camp to try to provoke you and get some kinda emotional response or reaction out of you. And if he realized that none of it worked, he would disapprove of that, but at the same time he would become even more determined to win you over. The fact that he couldn’t get the reaction he wanted would only make him more interested.
Micah is possessive when it comes to “what belongs to him,” and the person he’s interested in would be no exception. He would be very jealous. He hates John and dislikes Arthur even more. If he saw you chatting with either of them, smiling a little too much, or getting even slightly closer to them, he wouldn’t hesitate to walk over and interrupt the conversation. He would make crude jokes, act obnoxious, or try to draw attention to himself in some way just to disrupt the interaction.
He would start asking you to join him on jobs: stagecoach robberies, home invasions, and ambushes, using excuses like, “That damn fool Morgan’s occupied” or “Dutch wants you ridin’ with me.” In reality, Arthur wasn’t busy, and Dutch never told him to bring you along. He would say things like, “You’re useful in your own way, I’ll give you that.” “Don’t go makin’ me save your hide.” or “Don’t do nothin’ stupid.” He would know perfectly well that nothing was going to go wrong, but somehow he would still want to make it clear that he was the one in charge of the plan. “I’ll buy ya a whiskey.” He wouldn’t leave much room for you to refuse the offer, he was reckless, but he knew what he wanted.

MICAH BELL HC
Micah’s revolvers originally belonged to his father. After his father died, Micah inherited them and engraved the phrase “Vengeance is hereby mine.” on them, swearing revenge against those responsible for his father’s death. That’s also why he’s so attached to them.
Micah suffered both physical and emotional abuse from his father throughout his childhood and teenage years. He often tried to protect his younger brother and his mother from their abusive father. Growing up, Micah wasn’t allowed to show any kind of emotion without it being immediately dismissed by his father, who would say things like, “That’s girl stuff” or “Crying is for the weak.” He was raised to believe that being kind or compassionate would make him weak, which is why he came to associate empathy with weakness.
Micah felt the weight of Amos’s departure. After the deaths of his father and mother, Amos was the only family he had left. The way Micah speaks badly about his brother can be seen as a form of self-protection. He doesn’t allow himself to feel sadness, so he expresses that hurt in a harsher, more insensitive way, trying to convince both himself and others that he doesn’t care.
When he was younger, Micah was close to his mother. She was perhaps the only person he ever loved genuinely and unconditionally. He tried to protect her from his father in the same way he tried to protect Amos. Micah rarely talks about her, likely because it’s a deeply sensitive subject for him, and he prefers to keep the memory of Mrs. Bell to himself.
Micah became the cruel and ruthless man he is largely because of his father’s influence. He entered the world of crime at a very young age, and at first it wasn’t easy for him. He felt fear and hesitation when it came to hurting people, but his father would belittle him every time he was afraid to point a gun at someone. Over the months and years, Micah simply learned to suppress that fear. That’s also why he becomes so mad when people call him a coward or accuse him of backing down in certain situations. It reminds him of when he was younger and his father would humiliate him for being afraid.
When Micah decided to write to Amos, it probably took him hours, or even day, to convince himself to do it. Actually writing the letter took even longer than it should have. He knew what he wanted to say, but he didn’t know how to put it into words. Once he finished, he read it over and over, wondering whether it was really worth “humiliating” himself like that for his brother. Yet, somehow, he still held on to a bit of hope that he might see Amos again. When Amos’s reply finally arrived, Micah read the letter once, twice, maybe even three times. Then he tossed it onto a random crate and walked away with an annoyed huff, muttering that his brother was an fool and coward.
that’s all for now!! this is my first post of micah HCs, and i wanted to write about his family first, i also have plenty of other HCs about him on different topics :) i’ll probably post more later, and maybe i’ll make some posts about other gang members too! for now, though, i’m mainly focused on posting about micah <33
