• Duke tends to be stubborn and persistent at first.
• Once he noticed that you seem to become a bit relaxed and comfortable around him, the man will release his grip.
• In fact he doesn’t want to scare you away with this or press on you, it’s just his nature.
• Actually he understands that not many people in the world you are living in are worth of being trusted. He’ll stop go “fast and heavy” on you.
• If you need more time to start trusting him and open up, so let be so. He’s okay with that.
• Sometimes will poke fun of you, but nothing offensive - he’s just seeking for your attention.
• He feels like you’re underestimate him for some reason and will pick any dangerous and hard mission to prove that you haven’t seen “the real him” yet.
• One of the things he really likes about you, is your strong, stoic character of yours and your ability to protect not just yourself but also weaker innocents.
• It doesn’t mean that he won’t become a sort of you personal invisible guardian-angel.
• Unostentatious helping, little insurance here and there, support during missions. That kind of stuff.
• Although it’s obvious for everyone around you that there’s something going on between you two, they won’t say a word. Nobody wants to have a punch in their face from you.
• In the beginning you didn’t want to have anything in common with the guy under your own age.
• But as soon as you found out that he’s actually more mature that his “age by passport” says, you couldn't help but soften your shell.

Just finished Last Light and I am speechless. I wasn’t expecting to love this series nearly as much as I do right now. Anyway, Col. Miller’s been my favorite character since the first game. Do you have any headcanons about him?

[Hey! Of course, sunshine!💕 (Cause I absolutely love this kiddo). Honestly, I don’t feel that way, as I don’t see him in the open space. In my vision, catacombs, infiltrations, and short goings out are more in this character’s manner. P.S I played both Russian and English versions and I swear, he doesn’t use foul language that much in the original!xD ]

• There’s just something really sentimental for him about you being able to allow yourself to be weak and vulnerable with him. He wants to be the person you trust wothout a doubt.
• He’ll surprise you by being very kind and soft around you, although on public he keeps the image of a toughguy.
• He will bring you some jewelry, such as earrings, a bracelet or a necklace that he is able to find on the surface during his sallies.
• He won’t judge you. He’s not a saint and he’s not here to judge you, he’s here to love you, even with imperfections.
• He has not a bad sense of humor in his own way. If you are on the same wavelengh with him, you’ll find it really funny.

• People call him psychopath and might find him arrogant or impolite, mostly scary, but in fact it’s just a result of his even-temper and tendency to keep back emotions.
• He’s a very intelligent person, and has good memory: he doesn’t collect books or other sources of information, as he keeps the knowledge in his head.
• He draws not bad so he sometimes makes sketches. Mostly used materials are pencil, coal or sanguine. Rarely old watercolors - it’s a luxury.
•He might be called a buddhis but he’s not religious in the literall meaning of this word. He sees religion as a mixture of ideas, energies and interdependencies. • Relationship with Anna will not differ much, whether you’re a sniper or any other Ranger.
• Independent and cocky, she will do things her way, sometimes even without informing you about it, but she has a kind heart and acts out of good intentions. You’re like Elizabeth Swan and William Turner from a pre-war popular movie.
• She won’t give a clue, but if you’ll compliment on her skills, she will be very glad. C’mon, she may be a tough Ranger, but she’s still a girl!
• She’s impulsive and emotional. Mostly her actions are based on emotions, rather than a common sense. It will cause some troubles.
• Very touchy: tactile contact means a lot to her. Holding your hand; light accidental touches on your shoulder or waist before going on missions; pulling herself closer when you are together or around others; small kisses when you meet after a mission.
• Trust issue is a thing. She’s not the one who needs to prove anything to anyone, so she’s not into cheating and these child plays.
• In the mornings she’s like a cat - curls up next to you or give soft warm hugs. Sometimes she’ll tell about what’s on her mind or what she saw in her latest dream, or would listen to you.
• She’s very caring and deep inside she’s somehow happy that you are a sniper too. It means that you have a lower chance to get injured or killed, as you’re always at distance from enemies.

Sam general headcanons
• Likes to say “easy-peasy-lemon-squeeze” when he gets instructions about his forthcoming mission.
• He imbued with Russian mentality and proved that basic human values are universal for all people, wether you’re American or Russian.
• Sam is absolutely non-fatalist and a brave fella, so he’ll dare to have a rullette play with fate.
• “Relax, it’s gonna be OK”
• He cooks the best rat barbecue in the metro. The maestro definitely has a secret.
• He’s a “Sabaton” fan and has some physical copies of their albums.
• When he was serving, he had a nickname “Jah” because of dreadlocks he used to wear before joining the military. After that, he was never called that again.
Friendship
• He’s one of the most reliable and trustworthy guys in the wasteland. If anyone covers your back or lends a shoulder, he would be one of those guys.
• The best time for a long zadushevniy (soulful) conversation is when he overhauls and cleans weapons: that’s when he’s the most relaxed and ready to get off serious topics.
• He’ll tell some stories from his military past: for example, about Iraq and Afghanistan. And, of course, about life in US before all that.
• He’s a simple guy without a selfishness, so whoever his friends are, they’ll feel comfortable around him.
Sam’s friendship with Miller and Capt. Baranov
• Sometimes Sam performs melee drills with Miller. Once he tried to play giveaway, but quickly regretted it, since the Colonel is not inferior to him even with leg prothesis.
• In Miller, he sees a soulmate and has an infinite respect for the Colonel. After all, he was the only one who had courage to save Sam’s life twenty years ago.
• Times after the strike were kinda rough for Sam. People around made him a scapegoat because of his nationality. They blamed him for the War, as if he was answering for the entire nation and its leaders.
• Then he met Miller. He is still grateful, because if it wasn't for Miller, he wouldn't have found the Spartans who became his new family for years.
• Although Sam is a professional, skilled fighter with a great experience, he still finds something to learn from Miller.
• He feels people’s nature well. He quickly realized that captain Baranov was a man of honor, and they have many in common.
• They spent some days drinking and sharing nostalgia about the time that pass. This was especially valuable to Sam, since there are not many people left who remember their pre-war lives. In the future, he would remember these conversations many times, admiring this man, even though they had not known each other long.

• Around Ulman you’ll feel yourself like a princess, cause he’ll do his best for you, and he would gladly be your knight of the underground. At least, he would like you to think that way.
• His confession is gonna be awkward. He’ll inform about his feelings among other jokes, and at first you won’t understand if he’s serious.
• He’s into giving nicknames. He’ll call you Sleeping Beauty in the morning, Mona Lisa if sees you lost in thoughts, Chingachgook if you are too active and etc.
• He likes playing with the tips of your hair with his fingers.
• He’s a big romantic at heart. Candles at “home”, tea to bed at morning, little gifts from sallies when possible, slow dances in the silence, things like that.
• Lots of cuddles with this guy. It also calms him, when you press yourself to his back while you two sleep.
• He likes it when you call him by name, when you are one on one.
• There’s no way to find any flowers or bouquets here, so he’ll get you a plant in the pot from the “plantations”, ignoring all restrictions. It may seem childish, but he’ll certainly do it to make you smile.
• Many Spartans get annoyed by his humor sometimes and send him “to hell" as Miller did, but you absolutely love this feature of his. You are admired by his ability to maintain this positivity in such terrible times you live in.
• He won’t mind playing strip cards. You gonna see a grin on his face many times.
• There will be little quarrels from time to time, but he has an easy appeased character and will calm down as quickly as he starts up.
• Some of his remarks will make you blush as he likes seeing your face turning red.
• When it comes to intimacy, he’s passionate, a bit teasing, but soft. He won’t drive fast and will wait til you feel comfortable around him at first.
• In relationship he’s not possessive and will give you as much personal space as needed.
• Although nobody could say that about him, he’s a sensitive person and if he finds you cheating or playing with his feelings, it will break his heart.

Pastime in D6
Sparta consists mostly of serious and tough people who understand the difficulty of what happens around, and nobody is actually pranking and doing stuff like that. In fact, after the Orden moved to D6, they didn’t really have much fun there. It took much effort to conquer this place, and many good men died in process. And Miller is keeping a strict discipline among his people and don’t let them spent much time in idleness. The answer is universal: if you have nothing to do, go train. The man is not angry, just keeps in mind that the lull is not eternal.
