Life Update: Finally on my Feet Again

A month ago, I was finally able to get another job. I've just had no time to post anything recently. I work at a high school as a custodian now. It's not much, but it's a start. I hope to be able to save some money for some classes at a local college. Is any one else going through this right now? Any way, I should probably get back to posting photos here soon.

Life in a rut

I would have updated sooner if I had something to update about. Truth is, it's tough to find things to blog about when you don't go out and do much. I'm currently living on money I get from some babysitting jobs and from helping my mom with my sister. She's had some complications with seizure medication so I've been helping out. Because of this, I have been unable to go out and get another job after I lost my last one. I'm in a rut, basically. But things should clear up soon. Mt sis I'd getting better and I will be job hunting again.

My day at the annual Smoky Lake Punkin Fair. This is always my favourite time of year. The whole town gets in on the fun and contributes to the festivities. It’s times like these that I wish would last. I forget about reality when I’m in those moments.

The Downtown Diner

So yesterday, I went to The Downtown Diner in Fort Seskatchewan. It was featured on You Gotta Eat Here. The food was pretty good and I liked the atmosphere. What bugs me about this, is the fact that I've gone through Ft Saskatchewan so many times and I've never seen it. It took a TV show to get me to find it. Sadly, I was unable to get pictures. But my sister, who was with me at the time, got some so I'm going to get some from her and post them here later.

Motivation For Weight Loss

I’ve always had weight problems as well as low self esteem issues, but I worry about it now because I’m not as active as I used to be. But I’ve found a good weight loss app that seems to work for me. It’s called Burn Your Fat With Me (for girls). It’s an Otome game. Yes.. I’m using cute men for my motivation… got a problem with that? Any way, I probably shouldn’t get my hopes up yet since I only got it today. But I like it so far. But, I’ll see how it goes.

Language Barriers

Good morning. How are you? Yesterday, I hung out with a bunch of kids in my town plus two foreign exchange students from South Korea. A friend of mine is letting them stay for the school year. It's really tough trying to talk to them the younger hardly knows any English and the older knows just enough so it's tough to make conversation. It doesn't help that I'm not good with new people. But they seem to get along with the kids around here. I feel like I left a bad impression when I first met them a few weeks ago because of my antisocial nature... hopefully it'll be better in the future. I hope to make good friends with them.

As you can probably tell, I love fall. I tend to take the most pictures in fall. The colours of the leaves are what make it look amazing. I live in Alberta, Canada. North east of Edmonton. Around this time, a neighboring small town has its annual festival called the pumpkin fair. It’s annuakcctually become quite popular. I’ll be posting photos next week about it.

This blog is going to be for my thoughts and experiences. Sometimes I need some way to put my thoughts down and this is the perfect place to do it. This seems a little cliche but I’m going to tell you a little about myself. I live in a small town, I don’t really have many friends, only family. I’m a 20 something and and I’m just barely ready to leave my parents house. I like a lot of nerdy things here’s a short list: Star Wars, Marvel, DC, The Walking Dead, Doctor Who, anime like; SAO, Bleach, Fairy Tail, Noragami, Black Butler, Samurai Champloo Knights of Sidonia and Naruto I also watch a lot of you tubers. I’m also into antiques and any thing historical. That’s probably why steam punk appeals to me so much.

New Blog, New Post

Today I started a new blog. I need a place that I can put down my thoughts and feelings. This probably won't last because I have this strange inability to keep something going. I don't know why, I just loose interest in certain things.
